We said we would support you for saving YoVille but you took advantage of us. I cannot continue to disrespect myself by putting any more money into what I never really considered a game but a community. This isn't a community anymore. It's a money grab by BVG every day.

Now I see this dwindling town of 800 or less players at any given time. In my opinion, this is how you ruined everything:

1) Unvaulting anything! That was for us to negotiate.
2) Encouraging gambling. It was a piece of YoVille not the meat of it just like the Speedway or the Fishing Pond.
3) Shutting down the factory making items. That was YoVille.
4) Over decorating your items. That was for us to do.
5) Making the cost of YoCash an investment instead of entertainment.
6) Over banning people leaving us with little friends left.
7) Making it impossible for new players to play with little or no money.
8) Not closing stores! Too many items and too many releases.
9) No cars, no horses.
10) Not encouraging community... visiting our neighbors require a reason. Gifting became a thing in our distant memory.

There is no reason to stay. It's a money grab. I guess you couldn't afford to keep YoVille. Now, I can't afford to keep YoWorld.

All good things come to an end.

And you are a Gold Supporter. If more and more Gold Supporters are leaving, BVG had better find what is wrong.

I understand that BVG needs to make money to run the game, but it feels like they don't have any cohesive plans. They are trying to please everyone, and in so doing, they are pleasing no one (or at least very few). The issues that we have brought up for years don't seem to be of any concern. Game play and loading issues, reorganization of inventory, ways to make coins and cash, etc. They have made a few concessions here and there, but overall there is no real improvement. However, I do not agree that things were better when it was YoVille. I started back then, and I ended up not playing for several years due to many similar issues. I determined long ago that I would never start another Zynga game.

I will probably play until the bitter end. I have too much already invested, a bloated inventory, and too many empty spaces to quit now. l am working on retraining my brain on how much I am continuing to invest. (Serious FOMO here!!) I can still justify a bit as this is one of my main sources of entertainment, but my purchasing power is not at the level that BVG seems to want to attract. It's really sad that a game that has brought so much joy is now wringing it out of us.

Very good list -- and thank you for your bravery

I see it slightly different

while Zynga failed us because they failed to protect the general playing public from those that wished to do harm
BVG did make an attempt and for that im grateful

however they got off on the wrong foot with me from day one; when they refused to provide player support. If you were scammed, it fell on you. If the data glitched, to bad so sad not our issue -- but what hurt the most was BVG idea that we were all aiming to 'take advantage' and the 'were we not able to be honest'

So that has been ding one and the reason I'm the type of player that i have become --- we are for the most part honest and hard working. If things are disappearing it isnt because we are doing it, but their storage system failing

Second, is not only did they not address the issues with a multigenerational game - they decided that they would simply make the adults uncomfortable and see how many leave??? - that is a broad generality I know ---- but it's the best way I can come up to address it. ...... we hear 'teen game' alot right; when in fact when many of us still here started it was a 18and up game app - and what we saw were very vocal young adults rudely demanding they be included; that behavior for some has never ended. And they now have voting blocks/ bots/alt that take up more then their fair share of the voting; skewing the game (or is what I see as skewing the vote; really more of BVG controlling the outcome?)

So I think we are running out of space .......and I would never make accusations without proof, but the pattern screams to me that some of this isnt player but company

Why do I still buy yocash ? because I feel a moral obligation to support the space I take.

EVERY time you see someone bashed, lied about or belittle - it spreads like ripples ............. Im not talking about disagreements, we are always going to disagree - it is where you find personal growth. I honestly want everyone to win.

Will we ever be a multigenerational game with fair odds and a sense of community ?

I play all the time without spending anything. I don't need BVG to make me a single item and I'll be just fine. I tear down old rooms and remake them all the time. I have more wearables than I'll ever need. And BVG didn't break trading; coin sellers did that. They took the attainable and made it unreasonable.

As far as your banned "friends" - pick better friends that don't break the rules. I am glad BVG wiped all the cheaters and abusers out of Yo. It's a better game now.

The stuff in the store has evolved and adapted to the game. We used to all stock up and then rip each other off when someone needed stuff later. That's not fun for one side of that transaction. I'm glad they stopped locking stuff up for decorators. It's helpful.

This game has NEVER been an "investment". Our money is 100% gone forever when we spend. The items we rent were never ours. It's about generating the maximum amount of fun with what we rent.

I'm with you on the gambling. Ridiculous.

I do miss the cars, but I hate the morons that drive them around in public spots.

I totally agree! The Game has a great potential, but the problem BVG not taking our suggestions seriously. The whole game needs a complete revamp, the map is useless, needs to be completely wipe out and bring something new and exciting. The money grab is outrageous, i dont even remember when was the last time they release a hair for coins. I guess the game is like any other business, the sad part there's no value on the items you invest in. the Game is dying slowly but surely, i just hope they see where this game gonna be 5 years from now. Best of Luck For Everyone

Unvaulting

Sorry but BVG valted themes and not expired them meaning they can come out in yocash deals or be place in normal deals or theme can be place back in store without having to negotiate and speak with us about it. valted themes has always been made clear to everyone That its not expired and could come back in future. Buying valted themes in AH is down to us and our risk!

Not closing stores!

BVG has listened to many players feedback about them vaulting themes to fast due to lack if items in store and thats really good because gives us more items to work with.

Only thing that getting to much is gambling in this game but people are spending there own cash and once it starts they will come up with new ideas and new ideas and players keep falling into the trap. I was gold for very long time but stopped because lack of males items and the way game is heading. Still got bronce badge that because done 9yc deal thing

my good thing hasn't come to an end yet. sorry, op, yours has. i still find fun in playing yo my way no matter the real life dollar costs. is the game perfect in every way, absolutely not. you are mistaken about 800 or less players online at one time. i saw 1,056 late afternoon this past saturday, granted not a huge lot more of players and certainly not as many as yo's hay days. rod is correct we're only renting pixels that only exist in the ether of thr internet however i'm still having a good time with my imaginary items. i do agree playing yo is costing more and more it just hasn't reached the too costly for me to spend stage yet. i prefer to concentrate on the positive side of the game. it will end someday for all of us just like everything ends someday. i see that day further in the future than some others do. anyway, i'm here till the bitter end.

I won't stay till the bitter end, because then all my money spent for the game would have been spent with hardly any worthy meaning. I want a chance to distribute my whole inventory to other players before I go, when the game is still alive and well, then the money spent will at least has a meaning, and not just a bunch of lost pixels.

I haven't spent a cent on this game since Zynga/Facebook game cards. I get by just fine by buying and selling in the AH, and love the game as much as I ever did.

I feel your frustration. I have cut back on my spending here not only because it's gotten so expensive but also because there's rarely enough new stuff I want to buy. I don't gamble and I spend when needed. I hate the direction the game is headed and have been disheartened and displeased more and more over the last few years and it seems to get worse by the day.

But I'm still hanging in there. I love my buddies and I love decorating. I don't have to have every item I want in the game. I just make use of what I can and do my own projects with what I have amassed over the years and what's available in the stores and in the AH. It takes me a lot longer to complete projects between less new decor and the funky/broken search feature makes it take forever to find store items, which is irritating. But if I have a vision and can make it come together to my liking, I'm happy. I don't usually go by theme. If I like a house, I'll buy it and turn it into whatever. Sometimes it goes with the theme but it's mixed and matched with other items from other themes. I make it my own. And I still enjoy that as I always have. I just feel like sometimes everything starts to look too much the same but there are ways to tweak my places to make them different enough. I wish they would REALLY listen to our feedback.

As for the vaulting, they were doing it to death years ago and it was maddening. The themes they retired and vaulted have been replaced with themes that have less decor, are not cohesive, and are lower in quality, not to mention more expensive. Many of us were fed up and angry about the continuous vaulting so I am glad they stopped that. It was a headache and a cash grab to try to grab everything I wanted a stockpile of. And time consuming.

So I'm just playing how I've always played, even if it means projects taking longer and having to get extra creative. I hope they find a way to bring back the joy of the older days. It will never be like it was at its peak, but there are so many ways they can improve things. If they could be bothered to invest in those improvements, I'm sure more people would spend again and they wouldn't have to keep doing the same things over and over that are driving players away. I don't know what it will take for them to figure this out, but it is what it is.

Edited to add: I don't look at it like an investment. I know that at any point the game could shut down. It's more of an entertainment and a creative outlet for me. So I spend a little here and there as needed, but I can't and won't spend insane amounts to play. I'll get from it what I can and that's all I can do. I do still find joy in it despite the many things I'm fed up with.

My game is unplayable - and I've spent a fortune here. I've been patiently waiting figuring they were working on something - but this is ridiculous. I can't even change my outfit without it saying the page is unresponsive.

There's no Polyanna in either of you. You simply choose to enjoy this place for the good that it delivers, while mostly working around or ignoring the negatives. That's not putting your head in the sand about what's wrong with Yo. That's called making the best with what we've got - which is a lost art in this world.

Negativity spreads like wildfire in a room full of dryer lint. Positivity takes a lifetime to grow. Both are choices.

Im sorry -- I agree, it is disappointing

here is what I found out, some you might already be doing -- such as clearing your history; but also reboot your computer - and you might want to reboot your router, it might have updated

Then also browsers matter now and some find the chrome is just not the choice for them any more - I have tried them all and currently able to play and 'chat' in game w/ my mac using Opera (I wasnt able to chat in game, no space bar - I went over 8 months)

if all that didnt work, let your provider know --- im still having issues, but all of the providers in my area are horrible. So I there are times I just cant get in game. (something tells me however If I agree to their cable package all my issues will magically disappear LOL)

Another Gold Supporter leaving. I want to leave too, but I am conflicted since I am so close to Level 500. I think I should reach it first before leaving. I don't think YoWorld can transfer accounts. What about holding your inventory for now and just take a long break? Take a break as long as you need. If one day you want to play again, your inventory will still be there.

I changed to using Brave browser that helped
it also helped using the new computer that's designed for high end games , although that still crashes when we use Chrome.

and if they can remove items from accounts that have been inactive for a long time they can remove items from yours
Although I wouldn't recommend it , as I didn't play for a long time and when I finally did come back everything I had was still there in fact I'd been gifted items while I was away so I had MORE than what I thought I had
I was VIP as well now I just cash in the piggy 2x a month
.
Emptying out your inventory takes time but it can be done especially if you are VIP as you can just buy a pile of gothic houses for storage and dump stuff the less you carry about the better your game loads and the easier it is to gift
