I am going to need a new computer soon so what hardware specs should I go for to be able to run YoWorld smoothly? Thanks for any and all help.

Sorry couldn't figure out where to post this here or what to choose to send in help ticket, which might take a while to get an answer back.

Tips for smooth play:

Use yoworld.com in a supported, up-to-date desktop browser

Enable hardware acceleration in your browser

Close unused tabs and extensions while playing

Clear browser cache/cookies if you experience performance issues

TL;DR

For smooth YoWorld play in 2025, use a desktop/laptop (Windows 10/11 or macOS). Recommended: Intel i5/Ryzen 5 or M1/M2/M3 Mac, 16 GB RAM (8 GB min), and a 512 GB SSD (256 GB min) with a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari) kept up to date. Use stable broadband (25 Mbps+) and enable browser hardware acceleration. Close extra tabs/extensions and clear cache if performance drops.

RAM is the most valuable thing you can have on any computer these days. Everything piles into it in order to run. Windows itself is a hog. I tell people do not even look at anything with less than 16 GB.

Miss T hooked you up with all the details and they are sound.

Good luck on your hunt!

PRO TIP - Shop online for computers the last day of the month. Many sites run their best prices on that day. Also, there used to be big quality differences between brands. Not so much anymore. Shop your price and style and enjoy.
