What is going on? Traditionally, Halloween has been one of the best Yo Themes. Our community looks forward to this season like children anticipating Santa. Most players stock up on YC and Coins in preparation every year because we expect to SPEND BIG. This year, I’ve spent almost nothing. With 2 weeks left before Halloween, I’m wondering...where is all the content? Why buy YC when most of the content is behind a pay wall that renders my YC useless? :eh:

This is proving to be one of the worst Halloween Seasons in my 15 years on Yo. Houses have shrunk, content is sparse and completely deficient for decorators, purchasable content is lackluster, and paywalls are out of control. :grr

Perhaps it’s just me but, I’d love to see a Player Satisfaction Survey to determine if our community is satisfied with the 2025 Halloween roll-out. And…if the purse strings are indicating success for BVG.

You have to give credit where it is due however ---- as far as the quality of content, what little we have gotten has been close to what the community likes and enjoys

The issue has been it's all been behind massive pay walls -with the massive impacts the tariffs are having on our personal budgets. -- I hate to make this preachy but of all the companies I deal with, BVG is the least impacted by the current economic crisis (yes, when people are off of work - thousands from US government shut down alone - who do you think is keeping them afloat?)

If they had simply removed the pay walls and the painful crates of chance ---- had listened to ALL of their players

what bvg did was take away an escape at a time when many really needed an escape - they built resentments rather then bridges with the current marketing schemes

the 4 room halloween houses are such a disappointment to me. the exteriors are very well designed and pleasing, at least to my eye, however i'm only taking the free houses simply for floors and wallpaper. i want a halloween house not a condo. i do think the daily calendar prizes are exceptionally nice compared to those we normally receive. these four room houses are not pleasing to me at all.

I honestly like the smaller, shorter themes for Halloween with the smaller houses. It allows for more of a variety of homes & the outside rooms artwork has been fantastic. More items to decorate with would have been nice though. I know some players ike the bigger homes but I feel like the way players play this game has changed over the years. Not as many players take the time to tour other players large homes, I know I don't, I look at a few rooms, then move on. I don't miss the bathrooms or kitchens at all, seriously, how many people actively search homes for bathrooms to see how they are decorated? I have been playing since almost the beginning & have honestly gutted my larger older homes as even I find it a pain in the you know what to tour the entire homes. Half the time we place items in the bigger homes & forget they are even there because the homes are simply too big. Anyway, that's just me....

its not just you --- while I have some massive projects, some still undone ..... and I will visit just to see your bathroom or kitchen, because i simply find it impossible to make them interesting - I can think of things I would like but unless I paint board them, im out of luck.

The pay walls and gambling exist because the player base rewards BVG for using them. There is no other cause. We don't know how to say NO when we see stuff we like. They know it. We don't.

i understand your opinion on smaller houses however i do not agree. honestly, i don't decorate for other players to see. i decorate for me only. i don't miss bathrooms, i never did them but one. again i don't give one whit what anyone does or does not search for any to room to see of mine. my houses are for my own pleasure only and i prewfer at least 6 room homes or larger. :D

Aye all the good stuff is in slots and real cash deals. I save up all year for HW too. Mostly I have been buying NPCs this year. A few items were nice, but I think those were mainly VIP ones. So another year of disappointment, item wise. Also costume wise. There was not much I would buy. Only things I might have, again were in slots and real cash deals. I don't do dress up much in yo, HW is the time I actually buy that stuff. It has been boring AF though. Nothing has been released to match the actual themes.

I mean the themes (if they had followed them as described) were good, I would have loved a fully fleshed out theme of any of the 3 so far. The items would have had to fill a house and make sense though. Most of the items they are putting out are exactly the same as every normal theme, just different name.

THANK YOU! i ranked up milions of coins, had money set aside for yocash and deals and have spent virtually nothing either. I came back a few months ago after about 5 years of not playing and all i could think about is was saving up for halloween.
we are getting the same house over and over again, the furniture items looks all the same . We seem to be getting mostly outdoor stuff but houses have a front yard, that's it. Super small houses :(
i am extremely disappointed, i thought about buying a yocash deal this morning but then figured, why? theres is nothing i really want. I am not big on clothes, i mostly decorate and this is by far the worst Halloween on YO :heartbroken:
I've spent the most in the AH buying stuff i missed the years i wasn't playing...

I personally don't decorate for others, i couldn't care less if people see my homes or visit them. I decorate because thats the part of the game i enjoy. Don't care that much about clothes, socializing or whatever else people do in this game. I play this game to decorate houses.

I don't necessarily want bigger but different would be nice. Seems like all we get are the same cookie cutter style a main room and one on each end .The only thing different are the outsides

lol, I went to the "bathroom" of my oldest haunted castles (that huge one with rooms everywhere) & found that I had filled it with those untradeable skull candles we got as gifts, there were hundreds in there, quite overwhelming....

I want a decent sized house or whatever it is and a theme that is obvious. The words bump in the night conjur up images but I am not sure they fit what BigV is giving us.
