Hi everyone. Finally a forum i can get into! :) The old one was crazy confusing.

I read that the price gouging was ending at the Auction House, so I went to see if I could find some items... and it felt like real life (well, mine, as of late), since i will never be able to buy anything there. People are still selling chairs you can get in stores for app. 100 coins for 20 million coins - how is that right?

Will the auction house ever be a place where we can go and get a fair deal? I loved the idea of the AH at the beginning, but... is this "normal"? Charging tens of millions of coins for everything? I'm just bummed out. I lost my real life home 2 years ago and every penny i had... I know so many of us struggle in real life and Yo always kind of helped me - and I know many others - keep my chin up. I just hope that the spirit of helping each other, of being generous - all of those things that made this game and those who play it so different and more special than other games out there will come back. I literally have no idea how anyone has 50 million coins for a chair. How does one earn that much, i have been playing since '08 and i have never had anything close. I sell things occasionally but always for prices that I would be so happy to find - I believe in doing unto others as I'd hope they would do unto me.

Sorry for rambling, I'm just sad about a lot now and the AH sort of tipped me into Sadder. PLEASE tell me it will change, someone!! Thank you for reading and I appreciate any responses/help/anything nice.

Ignore those prices. Something is going on over there. Either people are moving money again or people are just trying to make everyone give up the game. I have not figured it out yet. There are some realistic prices but you have to look long and hard. Just don't buy.

Some people are using the AH as a way to transfer large amounts of coins. Some people are just freaking dreaming. BTW there is now an option to tick in AH to not show you things still in store. This is a great improvement, as i saw many a 1c item being sold for thousands. Always an opportunistic yo out there lol.

I've solved your dilemma. Sell things for prices that other people with lots of coins would be happy to find. ;) Meaning, if you want the finer things in yo then you have to hustle and look out for #1 BUT you can still do that while appeasing the yo-karma at the same time. There IS a balance there... Believe me. Start small and work your way up to higher dollah goods.
And just like rl though, sometimes ya can't have it all. ;)
Good luck :)
