People can transfer coins or group of people can sell among themselves to manipulate the price.
Your other thoughts and sentiments on ave sale and any ways we can get more legitimate means?

There are N/A too. I wonder if no transaction yet for those items. Does it mean if credenza is N/A status and the first transaction price is 100M, be it coin transfer or people/person making AH among themselves/on itself, the ave price is 100M?

I don't think it's reliable at all. I honestly think it's just the average price that an item is being listed for, not sold at.

No, auction house is pricejackers paradise, either people transfer coins, double the prices to make profit, or try to scam (with the items that are in stores.

But you can also find good deals sometimes (i haven't yet).

Well I mainly use AH to just get an idea if the item I'm buying would sell or not.
If the average is higher than the item value, then I think that someone has paid more than the value of this to get it thus it must be generally wanted.
And if average is lower I would know that the item is not wanted and it's price is falling.
