So i try to send message to a person i had a discussion with via pms and this is what i get.. (the requested users to be added do not exist)..

What does this mean? Did he get banned or changed name? I can't send it.

You need to add a members name in the box, find them somewhere on forums then click the PM button under their avatar.

I say try searching for that person, if you don't see his/her name he might be banned

Thanks for your answer,yes hun i add the members name in the box but it popup (the requested users to be added do not exist).. So it's not that i don't put the members name.

Don't presume that. I had the same problem earlier and gave up but I have since seen the person on here so I know she was not banned.

Thanks for your answer, i guess i will have to wait till i see her around and try pm her again, but thing is i just went to a thread i remember she posted there and i can't find her posts..nothing

I've decided that I just don't know how that message thing works yet in here.
I've tried many times to sen out a message using it, and get the same thing when I type a user's name in.
Even a user's name that is currently online.
I don't know the secret of it yet, but determined to master it so I can send out messages ha ha ha

You have to use the pm button under their avatar. I tried to type a friend's exact name in the box before and it said the member did not exist. Maybe you have to add the number in parenthesis after the name. Remember, now that you have the same name as in the game, many people may have the exact same forum name. By the way, I do not think they were banned.

Did you try that...or just use the name?

As you can see, people can have the same name here! lol

Yeah you have to include the numbers. For the short time the friend or foe feature was available (why did they take that away?) in order to friend or foe someone you had to know their name and user ID. The only person I didnt have to know the user ID for, was Viking John. Cause he has no number.

And I have another thing to thank the people in this thread for.
I noticed lots had a little world next to their PM button under their name.
I was delighted to see people's apartment keys there!
YES I WANT THAT TOO, and decided to see if I could figure it out for myself-figured it cold be set on our profile page....and now I have mine under my name too.
Thanks for showing me this trick too that I didn't notice until after this PM Question class began, LOL.

I am in everyone's debt over this one.
Happy to have my apartment link available to all.
I may change it to my favorite Halloween room though, LOL.
