I have decided to part with some of my treasures to buy pink retros. I have been thinking about this for a couple weeks.... I'm a hoarder and I'm finding it really hard to part with my treasures, but I know if I keep it all I'll never get retros and I'll never have anough to buy more in the future. I can't stop thinking about all the outfits I could put together with some of the treasures I'm going to part with or all the rooms that might not be complete if I part with something. I'll kick myself if I see the price go up after I sell it! I'm crazy. :ugeek:

Anyone else have this issue? How do you part with your treasure? Do you ever buy it back?

I buy and sell all the time....but mostly Halloween. I have houses sitting with stuff I haven't touched in years......lol.

I'm sorry, but I've got to say......I just don't think they're worth it. A friend loaned me hers for a couple of weeks.......I just couldn't love them. I much prefer diva glasses. Besides, with all the fabulous eye choices we now have, why cover the eyes up? I can't understand glasses that keep you from seeing the eye underneath. Sorry for the long, negative post - must be the wine talking.

Go for it. I know with the way I play the game all I need is 3 rooms for the few things I collect, which is rocks and other random things. I only have an apartment, and I keep it simple.

But I know and have seen there are those who are decoration-fanatics and hoarders. I'd suggest keeping your essential items that define you in a vault if you'd like, and selling the excess that your yo can live with out. That's what I'd so anyways, but I know some are not so minimal. LOL. Good luck though. I'd sell the blue rets. It's not like you're starting from square one anyway as it is.

It's ok

I don't think they are worth it either LoL! But I really like them, so I'm going to have to bite the bullet. I like my blue ones and I have glasses on her most of the time anyways. I should have bought them a long time ago, before they started getting crazy. sigh.

I never can seem to find things for cheap to be able to turn a profit. I go to auctions all the time and wind up paying close to what they are selling for in events.

LOL first negative-ish post I've seen from you. Funny the wine is speaking. I kind of agree, though. but to each their own. :mrgreen:

I get ocd if i keep my yo's eyes covered for too long. and Retros just aren't for me. I've had pink and blue and rarely wore them once I got them. :lol:

Some people like 'em though. and at this stage of the game they're like sitting money. When I sold mine it was at a peak. It was a relief to sell them too.

I'm anti clutter IRL, so this is where I get my hoarder on LoL. I think I'll work on it tho. Sell little bits at a time. I thought about selling my blue ones, but I think I've found enough treasure to part with to get pink

I parted with my 08 costumes and some of my furniture when the game was to close, now I am selling stuff I don't use or not bothered to part with to get them back!

lol thats interesting. I'm different. I'm really minimalist in person and on Yo. I try not to be though, but clutter always works it self out for me lmao. and yah I hear ya. When I sold the bulk of my stuff I put aside 1 room of things that I agreed with myself not to sell.
