I do too because my bird is right beside me and he freaks out over any noise, so I never have my sound on.

Just thought,they will be handy for sales if you are on several tabs.
Just get people to ring the phone if they need you whilst you are AFK,cheaper then most sound makers.

I had no idea either lol. I also keep sound off. Thanks for the heads up and I think the idea of using as door bell is pretty clever! Now that its mentioned, it would be pretty nice to have actual door bells in the store. :-)
