If it weren't better to buy yocash and then deal yocash to get coins many people couldn't have yocash items. People were better off dealing yc at 200c/yc than buying coins themselves ... so they dealt yc. If BVG brings up the value for coins too much then there is no incentive for people to deal yc other than to be nice. At what they are selling it at right now it's a bit above 2300c/yc so it is still a good incentive to buy yc and deal yc to get coins.

Some people are saying oh let them make it 5M coins for 20 dollars. Well that would be a rate of above 40K/yc and then no one would want to deal yc, they would just buy their coins. I think people should really think through what they are saying. And even people who buy yocash sometimes they don't have the yc at the time and don't want to buy it then and they sometimes need a yocash dealer themselves.

I think you are missing the point of what I'm saying. And many people do manage to get those rates when they sell new items.

its already 40-50yc:1coin in game and AH, especially on release days.
comparing BVG to zynga,
BVG sells coins dirt cheap. you get 280,000 coins for 20 bucks from BVG(not sure if that before or after the 100% bonus).
Zynga sold 70,000 coins for $100.

one of the the reason prices are so high are from coin sellers providing cheap black market coins, flooding the market, driving prices up. so BVG providing cheap coins would do the exact same thing. then those people wanting cheap coins would be complaining about the prices being so high.
they cant have their cake and eat it too.

Yes this is what I tried to say in a response to a thread yesterday. People say they want 5m for $20 but they aren't thinking it through right. For one we wouldn't have nearly as many dealers since it's a lot cheaper to buy coins, and also that would inflate prices EVEN MORE. We complain about prices yet we want to be able to buy high amouts of coins for so cheap? Come on people.... Think.

To be honest, I can't find the point of what you're saying. :)
Might be a lack of coffee. Might be a lack of coherency. I can't tell yet.

But people will always want yocash items whether they buy coins or not.... People can't buy yocash items from the store with their bought coins.

But if the people who buy yc can buy coins cheaper or at the same rate as they can sell their yc in game then they have no incentive to sell yc. Then people who want to buy yc items for coins will have more of a problem because those who would normally deal yc don't have an incentive to deal it ... they can just buy coins instead of dealing them.

Im still not getting the point either. IMO so what if coins are available now, I think its a good thing. Now, not only can i buy my own yocash, i can finally buy yocoins as well. and w/ the limited promotion of 100% more, im stocking up on coins as well and dont have to chase down coin sellers who do it for their own profit, which btw is not a bad thing either. TY BVG! :-)

Yc wasn't put into the game for people to sell to others.
If people are spending money on coins they'll probably pay for cash.
People are always going to want to buy yc because not everyone can afford to buy it themselves.

If you are buying coins now and are willing to be a yc dealer you are still way better off buying yc now than coins, even at this limited promotion of 100 percent. And no where am I talking about or saying anything about people buying coins from coins sellers.

I'm saying that people who don't put so much money into the game to buy yc then those people now have someone to get yc items from because it is still better for people who buy coins or yocash from BVG to buy yocash and then deal that yocash.

First sentence I understand and agree but it has always been since yc was in game that people bought yc items to sell to other people because they could get a higher amount of coins from other players per their dollar than they could get from owner per their dollar.

Second sentence ... think you meant if people are spending money on cash they will probably pay for coins and yes that is true if they can get a comparable rate from the owners to what they can sell in game. But then in game people would pay more coins for yc than the offer from the owners (BVG) so the spiral up of the economy.

Third sentence ... yes people are always going to want to buy yc items in game from others because not everyone can afford to buy their own yocash.

I hope that BVG does improve the coin rate. If i'm going to buy a discontinued item. I would just rather buy a load of coins instead of buying YC just to sell to obtain the item i'm after. More than likely I would just buy both. Use the YC for my own personal wants.

Yes for someone who has large resources to buy their own coins and yocash it is better for them to get more coins per their dollar, comparable to the current yc rate in game. However as I said in an earlier post that will just drive up prices more, because then people in game will offer more coins per yc and BVG will have to raise the amount of coins per dollar even more.

And those discontinued things you want to buy from others those prices will go up. And we may get to the point that only people who have very large sums of money to spend on the game are able to play. Then there are less players and less people to buy those discontinued items from.

I could be wrong but what i think what he is saying is that people who spend money on the game buy yc now because its more profitable. If buying coins becomes more profitable, they wont have to sell yc to buy rares. Then, the people who dont spend money on the game will not have any way to buy YC items because no one is dealing. Why would I deal YC if I can get loads of coins easier? Thats what i got out of this!

That is a major part of it yes. But then also people in game will just raise the price they are willing to pay for yc to above what the buyers could get from BVG and then price of all will go up up and up.

its a vicious cycle.... I remember the first time i saw a YC buying frenzy... it was super saturday... and after that there was no going back! I found an old post apologizing to my friends for raising my prices to 400-1!!
