Can they be removed - it makes it so difficult to shop... scrolling through all the themes to get to the active ones that are interspersed...
And then when you go back to previous category, you get bumped all the way back to the beginning, lol

Not sure if this idea would even be possible, but I wish there was a way to see all the options for a particular room or subject... such as all kitchen items in one tab, all outdoor items in another... or if that's not possible, how about a search function in the store? I had taken a break when Zynga went crazy, so it's really tough to scroll through themes trying to find a nice tub for a room I'm decorating, etc. - a search bar would be a great help (well, if things were named logically too... lol)

I love being able to see all the items - both available and unavailable. If I find something I want that's unavailable then I'll just start shopping at sales until I find it. Part of the fun for me.

Yes, if they remove them, the store would be a lot more neater, and a lot more emptier! The majority of themes you see in stores are discontinued.

Will the themes and categories currently available in the stores continue to be available after the transfer or will they be discontinued?

We have no immediate plans to change the store line-up, but we may remove some of the unavailable items as we think it’s a pain to scroll through things you can’t buy.

They ought to build a museum where discontinued themes can go. People would be able to see what's out there, and they would be separated from the store.
I hate shopping in there now...it's such a hassle.

Yes, would be easier if they weren't there, keep missing things as too confusing to look through. There did used to be a search bar for the furniture like we have for inventory, don't think it was there for very long.

The price guides are an excellent tool for this purpose Kenzie! :) They list all themes that have been released with pictures.

Maybe have a different area for discontinued themes, and you have to click into it to see them. As pointed out, you can still see the items and perhaps look for them in the AH or events sales, but they'd be out of the way of active stores.

I also love and have mentioned the idea of being able to search specific items in ALL themes, such as beds, plants, curtains, rugs, etc.

Yes, please!
I go cross eyed looking in the store now. I hope they put a search on there again.

As far as discontinued, I use the price guides as well. It's very hand to see what was in what theme.

it would be cool if they had one of the homes that came out with the theme decorated with all the items from it kind of like a showcase

Great idea, it'd give you an idea of the size of the items. Sometimes you see a pic of something and it looks great then when you put it in your room you think 'is that it?'
