Want something so bad and had the coins but used those coins on something for someone? Did you regret the decision? Did you get the coins for that item again?

When the retro specks came out, I had saved up enough coins for them. But a friend wanted a costume and would pay me back if I got it for them. I should have told them no but I didn't and there went my 25,000 for the pink ones. The friend never paid me back and they don't play anymore. And every since I have been trying to get the coins for the specks but can't get without seeing the price go up. I finally decided I would not buy anyone anything with my coins and yocash

Yes I did and no I don't regret it because I know helped out someone I care about. You have a kind heart and I respect your decision.

Yes, I still will buy for friends, but only AFTER I get the items I want.

I have never bought something for someone to pay me later but I have given away retros a few times and same with 08s (for some reason I keep giving the Clown away... I always "buy for keeps" and end up giving it away lol). The thing is that to me it doesn't matter since making a profit is what makes the game fun. If your goal is an item and that's why you play the game then you should never give up on it! At the end of the day it's just coins so I don't regret giving away things.

Not really buying for someone. I bought the 2 Ninja hair, last 2m I had. I would like to sell for profit. Suddenly, I feel like gifting the other hair. I didn't regret. I feel so happy. It's a feeling we have, when we give and don't accept something in return. Now, that's different when someone promised you something. It could be very disappointing.

I've done it, but I've never regretted it. I just told myself, well I guess I have to save up again.

well, pink retros have dropped a tremendous amount in the last month so it really shouldn't even be an issue now

It happened to me twice.
I don't have any regrets. In the end it all worked out and I did get the item I was trying to get.
A little later than planned,but I don't mind that.

I talked a real life friend into playing this game along time ago.She is old like in 70's and I figured she would like decorating.She had trouble so I gave her 100k to help .She quit cause she could not understand how to do things and I never made it over to hand show her.I lost all them coins.I was kinda upset about that. She only lives 30 miles away but I don't drive.

I saw an 08 Poinsettia in AH , even though I was saving up for something for me I bought the poinsettia instead to give to hubbie , he collects 08's course the really annoying thing its an 08 xmas he can't even put it down in a room
its not all that bad tho .. he just gave me chocolate real chocolate not virtual

I buy for myself, I buy for friends.......... I DON'T, however, loan money to friends. That causes issues down the road a lot of times. If I buy for a friend, it's gift. If I get the money back at some point, great. If not, no harm, no foul. I don't expect it back even when they say they will pay me back. It just frustrates to do it that way because they never seem to pay it back when you feel you need it. Usually, my friends will gift me something back and we flip flop things back and forth a lot and nobody really keeps track of the $$ figure attached. It seems easier that way, and it's always a nice surprise when it happens.

there is a problem a glitch with some of the 08 christmas items, they show up in inventory that you have them but not in room edit mode
