I Love you Mom,more than they can say in any book,poem or song,You taught me you values and wisdom,you taight me right from wrong.You taught what to value and it is not,green or silver,nor is it gold.You taught me life if the truth be told and I would not trade your love and wisdom for anything of this world.

Mom,
For all the times that I forgot to say, "thank you,"
For all the special, little things you do,
For all the words that go unspoken,
I need you to know how much I love you.

I love the way you stop and listen,
And for your kind support throughout the years,
For teaching me the true meaning of compassion,
And for sharing in my triumphs and in my tears.

And, if at times, I may have seemed ungrateful,
I just want to say, "I truly hope you see, that nothing you have done has gone unforgotten and day by day you just mean more to me."

My pink retro specks didn't get any bids

Log off now as it's getting quite late
A minute or two longer to redecorate.

And now to dress up and go shopping with Mum
Hats, hair and makeup, it's unequaled fun

Only One Mother
Hundreds of stars in the pretty sky,
Hundreds of shells on the shore together,
Hundreds of birds that go singing by,
Hundreds of lambs in the sunny weather.
Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,

Been wishing you a Happy Mothers Day in Heaven for 37 years
All the while choking on my heart broken tears

The day you knocked on Heavens door
Broke my heart forever more
I cried and prayed
And prayed and cried
All I could do is ask God "Why?"
Why would he take you before your children were grown?
I would have loved you much harder had I known

They say time heals the broken heart
But 37 years later mine's still torn apart
You were supposed to grow old with wrinkled skin, and silver hair
So we could have a happy life, and make memories to share
I try to remember how you sounded, or your smell
The day you left us my life became Hell

Our short time together you taught us to pray
Had I known he was taking you, I'd have prayed for you to stay
School just ended, but I'm not yet grown
Never dreamed I'd have to do it alone
You taught us respect and that God was so grand
Then please tell me why you left this land

Took me forever
So many years to get past the hate and slow down the tears
I wanted to love Him, but my heart said "Why?"
Now I'm left here alone, empty, and shy
Who do I talk to?
How do I learn?
Who knew my heart could survive such a burn
I had to give up
I cannot win
I need him now to forgive me my sin
When it's my time to go
My life here is through
I'm praying that God will let me follow you

This is a poem dedicated to my mum written during the first year of her battle with frontal temporal dementia

FTD is missing someone who is sitting right next to you.
It is aching with a loss but not being able to show your tears.
It is watching someone walk away ever so slowly … knowing you’ve
already lost the chance to say goodbye and yet knowing it is too
soon to say goodbye.
It is trying so so hard to hold on to a vision of the person you love,
but having that vision grow fuzzy and fade right before your eyes.
It is feeling you have failed to preserve the vision; it is fearing you
might never get it back.
FTD is missing someone who is sitting right next to you.
It is feeling guilty for the longing of what was before, for the
forgetting, for the frustration.
It is trying to be nice and kind and loving even when you feel
annoyed.
It is feeling false when you are loving and kind because your
actions are not as genuine, honest and spontaneous as before.
It is the knowledge that you must appreciate the moment, the
now; because today is the best it will ever be.
It is wanting and wanting to talk, to reach out, to delve deeper but
knowing that the distance is already too great.
FTD is missing someone who is sitting right next to you.

Alright mine is sort of cheesy but I've done my best haha

Here's to my mother,
Who is like no other.
She also took the role of my not present father.
She's caring and strong,
And knows right from wrong.
She always pushes me to do better.
I've known her for 19 short years,
she's always wiped my tears.
I hope I never lose her.

For being the bomb.

okay..Mother's day..
well..my mom passed away 2 years back..so it sums up to only me and my dad..but whenever mother's day come i make sure i buy her that special pudding and a hand written card which she used to love..nd place it near her grave..

unlike all moms..she too is alive in my heart..i still remember her touch..the warm kiss..everything..i love my mom so much..she was nd will remain God's most precious gift to me. At night i make sure the windows r open..so that my mom can view me from high above the night sky..blessing me to lead a happy life..m turning 18 this year..

I felt a touch I felt a warmth and yet I do not see the love I feel when that comes to me, I fell and hurt my little knee but yet as if a angel my boo boo went away I did not see the love when that happened to me I went thru hard times but I pulled thru as if I had a hero believing I could. I had a baby so beautiful to see and some how I felt a glow of a smile looking at me as I get older I know now why that special something that followed me thru my life, happy mothers day mama as u can see even though u r in heaven u have always been with me and I believe that day will come when for the first time I can thank you for all your motherly love you are always with me

M - is for the yummy smells that come from your kitchen "Mmgood!" :cake:

O - is for the great tight circle you hold me in with your great hugs. :hug:

M - the second M is for the big kisses you plant on my cheek as you say mm--ow :kiss:

S - is for the sweet sweet sound of your voice as you call my name in love and sing the songs you taught me.

Put them all together and you know why we celebrate our MOMS. :balloon:

I can't write a poem for my nana,but i wanted to tell you that my nana raises me and my brother.She does the best she can.Because she she has to work and she is old.But she loves us so much and makes sure we know it every day.She is not my mom but she is the greatest nana (grand mother) there is. Everyone's mother
The neighborhood went quiet when you left us for Heaven
No longer would you be standing in the window to watch us play
That's something you did every day
Kids came with tears in their eyes when they heard the news
They left tokens of love and respect for you
Flowers, candles, and old photographs
Share the joy of life was your epitaph
Each of us grew to be the best we could be
Your love was your legacy
Our adult lives are blessed by your view
We teach our own old lessons handed down by you
Politeness, and kindness is something we share

my mom passed on 2010, She was a very special lady & this is her story. I honor her by passing on the same traditions to my sons and my grand children, that she taught to us from her mom. she was a self taught artist and music, taught herself the piano, paint a canvas. I have canvas through out my home. growing up all our clothes she made, she knit wonderful blankets & my sons have their own quilts.
her magic with the arts also showed with her style with fashion, as well as her home. she would make home made dishes from scratch. she was specially fond of Christmas. her home made ornaments were display through out the house and her flare for wrapping gifts well they were so beautiful you didn't want to wreak it by ripping it up! All this creativity just flow from her wonderful mind set, so needless to say she was a sweet & thoughtful person, always thinking of others first, I could only hope that I show my sons the same pleasant manner that I was given I try not to dwell on how sad I feel when Mother's day comes around, I honor her by being as loving and thoughtful to my family. I'd like to be thought of half, of what I was shown, then I managed to pass on her legacy. :rose:

Roses are red,
Coffee is delicious,
As a child I ate off paper plates,
'Cause my Mom hated doing dishes.
:silly:

We did eat off paper plates a lot when I was younger, but my Mom is and always has been totally awesome! :heart:
