Many years back, when YoVille was young and feisty, I would visit my sister - who lives 600 miles away - in her virtual YoVille home where we would show each other our newly decorated homes, and chat for hours. Now I'm decorating my homes in YoWorld.

Back in 2009 When I joined, my mother-in-law was in Yo and my sister-in-laws told me hurry go in Mom's playing, I found and met up with her at her apt and she said, "Who are you" I said your daughter-in-law. lol My real name is Marilyn and my yo name is, Jemella. It was really funny. It was one of those, you had to be there moments.

My favorite memory is when I came back to YoWorld not too long ago and started to play once again and seeing all the new things and improvements that have been made. I started when it was Yoville and seemed to just stagnate. Thanks to all the Vikings!

Happy birthday/anniversary, YoWorld! I have many amazing YoMemories, but my favorite memory to date is winning YoLotto three weeks in a row w/ four numbers each time. Not a fortune in yoCoins, but over 40K in total. Gotta say, "I love the casino!!" lol

Oh so many wonderful memories and good friends have been made in Yo ! Getting the first Bouncy Castle and building a room around it, then having friends come to play lol oh and back in the day when you could use the glitches to ride the conveyor belt in the factory if you clicked the right area lol But the best day of all would be when Big Viking took over to save our Yo !! Thank you ever so !! I've been playing since 08 and have made good friends from around the world and so enjoy making my own little world where I can escape from reality !! So Happy Yo Anniversary to all that made this possible and to all my fellow Yovillians !! Love ya all

Some of my best memories playing Yo is first being contacted by Cindy L after I had made a comment out on FB regarding the passing away of my daughter at the age of 25. We quickly became friends... BEST FRIENDS... and would sit for hours playing the game while talking on the phone and going to events and shopping. We would spend time like this 2-4 times a week. I live in Wisconsin and she lived in Texas and while we never did meet in person, it didn't matter. It still was like she was just down the street! The reason I am writing this in the past tense is, Cindy passed away unexpectedly about 3 yrs ago. She had not been feeling good for awhile, when to the Hospital and came home and called me asking me to pray for her. The next day I called her back to see how she was and her husband said she had passed away about 1/2 hr after calling me.
Now while this seems very sad...... it really is a blessing due to all the time we spent together playing the game, chatting on the phone and building a wonderful friendship. I am so grateful for the time we had together over a fun game that would not have happened if not for this game! Her family has left her account up for friends in order so we can still make visits when we do our runs. I get a smile on my face when her Mafia home shows up during my runs and there is her avi proudly holding her Mafia baseball bat, standing in the front yard of this home. Thank you for this game for many reasons but this part of it was a huge blessing to me for the friendship that might not have been otherwise.

My favourite Yo memorie is when I started to play this game in 2009. Back than I did not have my own computer,so I had to wait for weekends,when my brother come home from work, to play game. And, of course, when I got enough money to buy whole ,,Girly girl,, colection. That bedroom looks the same, ev en today.

One of my best memories was on the Anniversary that featured the VIP Furniture. It was a freaking madhouse on YO. They would release stuff every hour or so. Scrollers came out at 4 am. The events were loaded with staff and games were played with prizes. Wild goose chases on YO. I was on the game for 26 hours. Didn't want to miss anything. You didn't know where to go. Events, Diner, Night Club, Furniture Store. People were friendly and I did make some good friends (still friends) that night. I spent a fortune that night but the memories surpass the loot that I collected.

My Best memory is how we came together and fault to save yo/we became. Family fighting for our yoworld thank you BV for saving our world Hugz And God Bless you all <3 . :p

I have so many wonderful memories of Yo over the years. It would be hard to pick a favorite, but the last party with Bob's Friends stands out. We met and celebrated just before the shut down for migration. I think Maria Beck called it "The Last Flight From YoVille".





I have been reading through so many posts from players who are new to the forums. Many talk about their real friendships and even marriages. The impact of this "game" has always gone far beyond the rooms, costumes and moves. That is why many of us stayed up to all hours of the day and night to attend protests and reach out to anyone who would listen in the media or game world. Happy Anniversary everyone. May there be many, many more.

My favorite memory was when I was introduced to Yo world and the first day I started the game was so excited to find all those beautiful decorating items! I love decorating chatting dressing my avi Everyday there is something new in Yo world but wish some old houses and items will be lowered in price! love you guys keep the great job

These 3 special people here are pretty much in every special memory of this game for me. I met AutumnGlory, Wingnut, and Taurus many years ago now on this silly little game and they are now friends for life, not only still on this game but off of it as well. They have all helped me through hard times with phone calls, texts and just listening when I need to unload, which are important, but the best thing they provide me with is laughter. Most of the laughter comes at Taurus' expense, usually on facebook, but I know deep down that he enjoys it

I am so happy to have had this game so that I could meet these 3 awesome people

My favorite yo memory/memories is from back in the day when my name was Nilly and I used to have maxing parties at my apartment alongside another yo friend. We were always having fun back then and looking to help others out. Then I took a break after the green Mohawk strike against YC and gave all my belongings away... It made a lot of people happy. Oh how I kick myself for that now lol but those are my most favorite times.

My favorite memories were decorating with simple items ex: (using tables to make what looked like stairs) ...back then it took a lot of creativity to achieve the look we wanted. I also loved the top rated rooms on the bottom of our screen where we could visit and get some really great ideas from. My all time favorite memory is when BVG bought Yoville!!!!!!

I REMEMBER... joining in 2009 & meeting Rose/Mama Rose (RoseAnn DellaTerza.)
I REMEMBER how amazing and sweet Mamma Rose was to all Noobs, giving us gifts, making us welcome in our groups, teaching everyone the ins & outs of YoLife.
I REMEMBER having 8 years of decorating, parties, dance nights in YV, Auctions and FRIENDSHIP.
I REMEMBER how I took what she taught me and shared it with all I met in Y V.
I REMEMBER the evenings on the phone as we decorated - swapping ideas and thoughts... tips and secrets.
I REMEMBER FRIENDSHIP & LOVE AND I REMEMBER ROSE.
YoVIlle & YoWorld LOST Rose on the night of May 9th after her long battle with Cancer - which she chose not to tell us about - as not to burden us.
So - I REMEMBER MAMA ROSE ... and so do hundreds & hundreds of Yo-players.
RIP Mama Rose. YW is a better place for having known you.

my favourite yoworld memory is probably the time Yoville was getting shut down, it's probably odd that i say it's one of my favourites..but it's because everyone on got together and tried to save this game, i even recall going to this event where everyone was sharing their favourite memories and how they've actually found their real true love because of this game ! Thankfully the game was saved by Big Viking Games because of all the Yovillans coming together
