My #1 show was Nine Inch Nail's Fragility tour with Perfect Circle opening. I saw it on May 6th, 2000 in Philly. Absolutely mindblowing, and Mer De Noms from Perfect Circle wasn't out yet, so getting to hear their stuff early was a great treat. #2 is probably Marilyn Manson on November 15th, 2001, again in Philly, the day after Holy Wood came out. #3 would probably be the Hatchet Rizing tour from ICP/Twiztid/Blaze in 2001.

The very best concert I ever attended was at Lake Lanier Islands during The Beach Boys Kokomo Tour. Just being a tween on the beach staring at Uncle Jesse from Full House was enough. He was so hot. It was a fun concert on the lake and you could hear the music as you went down the tubes. Best day on the Beach and not only that they also had Jimmy Buffett! How cool was that? Every time I hear Kokomo I think of that awesome day at Lake Lanier.

OMG...which is the best? I've seen Prince 3 times. Once in Georgia. I barely knew who Prince was but a friend asked me to go and after that night, I was hooked!! Then while in Germany I saw him 2 more times. The first time a friend and I went a day early, spent the night at the front door and were the first to get in. His concert started off with a heart shaped bed rising out of the stage floor with him laying on it..............OMG..............I almost died.   The third time we had bad seats but I had binoculars so wasn't so bad. I had bruises around my eyes the next day.............haha....
I saw the Eagles once, but we were drinking Wild Turkey. I don't remember very much....... :silly:

There was this concert of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus in Cebu City, Philippines and it was only held in an open ground on a big mall so I went there coz I really love the band but the people there only knew some of their songs. So even though its a bit awkward I was the only one screaming my lungs out singing with them coz most of the ppl knew only Guardian Angel, Face down and Cat and mouse song. So ya overall its still pretty lit coz i was with my bros until the end of the mini concert lol. And my first one to boot

I've actually only been to one concert! One time when I was about 10 my sisters, mom, dad and I were on vacation at a place called Atlantic City. The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato were preforming there for their Camp Rock 2 tour. We didn't have tickets so we were watching outside the door lol Then this very kind man came and gave my 2 sisters and I free tickets because his daughters didn't want them. We went inside while our parents went and did their own thing. The concert was amazing and super fun! It was so very kind of that man to give us the tickets. Thank you so much for the contest!.

Earth Wind and Fire brings the best concert ever! Imagine being at Madison Square Garden with fireworks and crowds and crowds of people. Everyone is singing and yelling and just having a grand ol time. I wish all Viking fans the best of luck in the up and coming Yostock 2017.

My best concert was my first, Nordic goddess Lykke Li. We (my mum and I) had traveled over 200 miles (in the UK, that's so many, lol!) and fortunately because of Lykke's fan demographic the entire audience were so kind - nobody pushed, we simply danced and danced... So incredible + still totally in awe of her amazing presence and voice. Afterwards we went to a small corner store and bought some food (I tried nutella 'n' go for the first time), and went back to our hotel to watch a movie.

Last November, I had one of the best experiences of my life. I got to see my absolute favorite band in the whole world, The 1975. The feeling when they walked on stage was completely indescribable. I was in this room filled with people who had love (not as much as I do) for the lovely people on stage. It felt like a dream. I got to sing along with Matty and thousands of other people who were also in complete shock.
A few months later I went to a kings of Leon concert, which was equally as wonderful but no other band will give me the feels that the 1975 does. Let's just say after both the concerts I couldn't listen to either band without crying my eyes out. Talk about post concert depression!!

My best concert I've ever attended was actually June 30th of this year. I've always been a huge huge fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and I was finally able to see them in Chicago. My boyfriend waited on Ticketmaster for over 2 hours to get tickets for my birthday which was July 1st! He presented them to me and I don't think I've ever cried over a present. EVER. We got to the concert and I immediately shed a couple tears!!! Seeing the people you have looked up to for so many years live and in person really turned my world upside down. They interacted with the fans, played soooo many songs, and the concert was over 4 hrs long!

*I also got to see Bob Weir and John Mayer at Red Rocks in Colorado for Jerry Garcia's 75th birthday and it was so chill and very relaxed! Red Rocks is definitely the best venue I've been to so far.

Five years ago, I was in London, England and just happened to walk by an outdoor concert by Katy Perry. She was so gracious to all her concert goers and to all the "walkers-by". She spent over an hour greeting us after her show.

The best concert I actually attended that I really enjoyed was a James Taylor concert quite a few years ago (I won't say how long, lol). Thanks for the contest and good luck, everyone!

When I was young, there was a Concert in Puerto Rico, that brought people from around the world. I took my niece and little son with me.
My family got very mad because most of the visitors from Europe were nude at the beach and my niece was around her 6th year old.
Anyhow, the concert was great, a lot of people, great music, and every day the front page was full of news from the big concert. I still have the
entrance ticket from that day. Festival Mar y Sol, that was around 1972-73, forget the exact date. Now I am 69 years old. LOL. and playing Yoworld for many years. Love it! Thanks for reading.

My family has always been a big fan of Bruce Springsteen. My mom and dad often played his songs when I grew up and now, years later, we're still listening to him and he's become one of my favorite singers. The first concert I ever went to was, perhaps not surprisingly, a Bruce Springsteen concert in my hometown a few years ago, I'm pretty sure it was on May 4, 2013 and I remember that he played his whole Darkness on the Edge of Town album. It really was a magical moment for me, especially when he sang "Something in the Night" and the whole arena went dark and the next thing I knew, everyone in the audience had turned on the flashlight on their mobile phones, which made the whole arena look like stars shining in the night. I've learned that this is common on concerts, but back then it was one of the most astonishing and magical moments of my life. However, Bruce Springsteen hasn't always been one of my favorite singers, even though I've always liked him. My dad bought us the tickets to the concert as a Christmas gift and I remember that he was worried I wasn't going to like the concert that much (I was a bit sceptic too in the beginning, to be honest), but I was so happy during the whole concert and I enjoyed it so much. I was a bit sad when it was over, but also very happy at the same time because it was as though I knew that his music would always be with me!

I got to see timeless Sade in a live concert at the ACC show in Toronto in 2011 . I thought she has way more class than her counterparts today and I adore her contralto . I've never seen anyone more sensuous. Beautiful woman, beautiful music. She opened with Soldier of Love from her latest album . Throughout they covered songs across her five big albums. The fascinating thing was how the staging was without frills (probably intentional) but the performance was totally unreal . I'm lucky I got to go. .
