I came back to the game back in December and Have to say I'm shocked how the decorators have been kind of pushed to the side. So I'm going to start doing some contests. I'm hoping to get the first one started tomorrow. This is open to everyone. I'm going to try to do a few of these kinds of contests because I want to see your rooms. I've seen more amazing creations through googling than I see in Yoworld LOL The only time we really see rooms is the Gems and those can be restrictive so with this kind of contest will allow your imagination creativity to flow.

The way this will work is I will come up with a sorta theme these will range from Landscapes, Rooms. Front/Back Yards pretty much whatever I come up with LOL.

I've set aside 5M coins of my own to run these and will sell more to keep it going if the interest is there.

Winnings per contest.

3rd Place 200,000 Coins
2nd Place 300,000 Coins
First Place 500,000 Coins.

Firstly, would there be enough people interested in entering a contest like this? Post below if you want this kind of a thing.

I'm also looking for people who are not much into the decorating but love seeing the creations people come up with to help me vote. I'm hoping to find 4 Yo's to help, so if you want to please post below so we can get this started.

I absolutely adore the concept of this decorating contest! I totally agree that YW decorators aren't given anywhere near as much appreciation as they deserve, and this would be an excellent opportunity to showcase their talent!! I truly wish you all the best with this amazing idea and hope that it takes off!

awesome idea a lot do showcase their decos in the forums creative corner and they are stunning! but a contest is ideal with new ideas and different aspects of things would help with decorators-I can be of help if you need!!

I've seen the creative corner too but it seems there is not much recognition even in there. When they do post a $25 YC prize it's everywhere and not just for the people who post in that thread and lets be honest those contests are for their marketing material so they are looking for specific types of looks. This would be just open creativity for a prize. Start small and see where it goes I guess.
