Mines pineapple I was obsessed loved having them but now I hate the fruit & anything flavoured

I've had texture issues my whole life. As I kid, I couldn't stand most veggies, especially cooked. I would eat frozen peas and corn (like straight out of the freezer) and raw carrots. Now, I do not like peas at all. I have grown to really like Broccoli and Green Beans (cooked) and will also eat cooked carrots now. Nearly every day for work I take a bag of carrots, celery and cucumbers.

A strawberry has to be really ripe and sweet to eat them plain, so yes, I'd say a little overrated. However, I do really like them with just a touch of sugar. Also, covered in chocolate are like the best things ever but at that point it's barely fruit! You did remind me I bought some strawberries today and need to cut them up for after dinner :)

Pat they kind of taste like a peach only better because there's no fuzz.

Nectarines and peaches are nearly the same genetically, but a gene variant between the two causes peaches to have a fuzzy skin and nectarines to have a smooth skin. Nectarines are not genetically modified peaches. Instead, you can think of nectarines as a fuzz-free peach.May 25, 2022 Actually I like them better than peaches. I don't know what it is with peaches now a days but they don't seem to want to ripen .Now they tend to rot first.

Has anyone had raspberry sauce as a filling in cakes? (in between the layers)

Just wondering if it would be good.

I’m the exact same on textures from a kid now to adult, when younger I could only eat carrots raw, still can’t eat them cooked not sure just something about it

Over here I have something called a Victoria sponge cake which the fillings is usually cream and raspberry jam which tastes really good! Id assume sauce would be a similar taste so I think it should be nice!
