When I married my first husband I ordered my wedding cake as chocolate with raspberry filling layers!
Love cake with raspberries !!! It was amazing and top layer didn't make it a yr in the freezer lol.

That must have been some wedding cake! Sounds delicious. I'm definitely going to use raspberry filling in my cake.

I love victoria sponge. I had some a few days ago and honestly could have eaten the entire cake.

i was lol. It was still white on the outside but I don't do vanilla really. I wanted dark chocolate with raspberry filling on the inside lol.
I just don't really like anything vanilla flavored. I am a huge chocolate addict.

My dad had very little he cared about for wedding details but for some reason he really felt the wedding cake should be white. I am with you on not wanting just plain vanilla so we had a white cake with a white chocolate mousse filling. Oh my, it was delicious :drool:
