I just celebrated Christmas yesterday with most of my family. We live 3 hours from everyone.

I also get to see my daughter who is away at college in a couple weeks so I am very happy!! That will be another 3 hour trip to the cities

I didn't do a tree as we now changed to new traditions so we go on vacation for the holidays-I did buy a blue and white twinkling branches and call it our hannukah bush and it's very pretty. but Christmas was so huge for us but now that my family has gotten teeny tiny - we go away and see different light shows and decorations that are huge and carnivals..I mostly enjoy the food and take pictures. My daughter has things all planned out and its like new york with many people out and about celebrating-we do gifts there and enjoy a tradition dinner that I no longer cook..somethings things work out ok.

Sounds like you have very fun holiday traditions

I only have one flannel one but I need to get some more.I keep my bedroom door shut for the most part and a lot of times it gets like an ice box in there. :)

Yep I guess it's some of my meds but my hands and feet feel like a block of ice sonetimes and no matter what I do I can't get them warm. When I was younger I used to run around outside with no shoes on in the Winter. :)

Not like back home ( born and raised in Montreal)..I miss home

We will spend Christmas Eve with my parents, my brother, my sil and my nephew. Hopefully my aunts will make it as well. Then Christmas Day will be low key at home with just us and the kids

No chance at any snow though cuz I live in Florida and it will likely be 80 degrees :haha:

ok here's a different thing for Lindy and anyone else-those in florida ahhh the sun the heat the warmth-for those of us in the cold zone
a trick to keep warm and it DOES work-get vick's vaporub-after your shower or bath when all dry -before bed is best-rub that vick's on the bottom of your foot and put on a light pair of socks...this will get you warm...yes very warm and it also keeps the feet and souls soft...I do this when I read all the other things one can do with vick's and it.does.work. :D

and ya feet smell all nice too
