Oooo sounds fun!! I know it's very early but I'm wising you an advanced happy birthday hehe :cake:

To be completely honest I'm not much of a veggie person, but I do love my fruits!!
Fruit-wise I would have to say my favorite of all time is mangos!! :D Probably because I'm from the Philippines so i grew up eating loads of them, and now it's honestly an obsession. I haven't been back home for a while so it's so hard when you crave sweet juicy mangos and there's never any good ones where I live currently :wailing: plus you can have it as part of any meal! breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just as a yummy snack hehe

This is not just my favorite fruit but was the first fruit i ever had and has a sentimental aspect.

It's called "Pawpaw fruit" pronounced like a paw, like a dog or cat paw. But it was a tree my Grandfather had, and we called him "Paw-paw" lol but the first A was said like the A in "glad" so Paaaa-Paw.

Me and my sister used to get in trouble a lot for stealing the pawpaws off Paw-paws tree lol when they'd get ripe then hiding in back the house and eating them.

So good though!! Great memories too :)

:cake: :cake: :cake: Happy Birthday Hunni!!

Ohh I am the opposite of you. Yesterday I had steamed cabbage and brocccoli only for dinner. I just love veggies. My boyfriend thinks it weird but my family from Italy. We love veggies haha.
I love fruit too! Mangos are a great breakfast! I rather have fruit than a bread or cereal for breakfast.
Most mornings I drink a protien shake chocolate and a piece of fruit. I love berries and bananas as well!!
Uh I have had a buy few days then my ex brother in law past away today. I hope everyone is doing well!!
He was ill for some time but it was still sad. I like him. He only one in that family I did like.

Ohhh I never heard of this! I will have to try it!!! Cool!
My boyfriend asked me my fav berry one day and I said black current.
You can not obtain the berry or items flavored with black current in the us so he had never heard of it hahaha.
I love them tho and don't get them often.

Ok shocker but my fav veggie is the tomato!
I can't get enough of them!
I usu have low iron and that thought to be part of the reason but my dad is also a chef from Milan.
I ate so much that was homemade as a kid from tomatos it just feels like home lol.
I eat roma ones like apples walking around the house haha tweeks out my boyfriend.
If I had to pick one food to eat for the rest of my life roma tomatos would win hands down.
I think it why us Italians live long and look so young. Most ppl think I am 25.
They perserve us hahah. That and the olive oil.
I am a bit overboard with the tomatos but omg I just love them!

I would have to say my fav fruit is a peach ,so juicy and tasty-the bigger the better-and I like mine soft
I don't like stickyness so I sometimes eat them over the sink but the juice can still run down my face lol.

Thank you for the bday wishes diamond!!!  and I was actually not expecting anyone to say tomato :haha: I love them! But only on certain recipes. Tomatoes on a burger for me are a big no-no. But sometimes I stick some thick slices of tomato and a dash of salt in between white sandhwich bread and it is so refreshing :)

Very hard to describe the taste of a pawpaw. They're really sweet, they taste a little like banana smooshed with peach or mango lol but it's a flavor all to itself.

YESSS read it, seen it, LOVE Roald Dahl books and movies both!!

Boy:Tales of Childhood is his kid-friendly autobiography, and he had a very interesting life. It's obvious from this why he went into writing kids books. There's also "More about Boy" that came out i think almost 20 years after he passed, I'm not sure who put it together but it adds more to the first story, and the whole thing was still written by Dahl. I'm assuming his family may have found notes and such that he wrote. I've not read that one yet.

If you get a chance though, try and find "Boy" the first one. "The Great mouse plot" makes the whole thing worth it!!

My favorite fruit would be Rainer Cherries! They are so yummy and sweet and a great texture (which is huge for me)! I can usually only get them a few weeks out of the year which might be another reason they are so desirable to me. Not around long enough to get sick of them!

So many people love mangos. I don't know if didn't get a good ripe one, but I just did not like it at all.
Happy soon to be birthday Pat! Thank you for hosting again
