I'll go first. Here are some Greek ones I loooove
Melomakarona. They are biscuits soaked in syrup. I look forward to eating them every year.
Pastitsio. Not a holiday dish per se but one we usually make on Sunday dinners and special occassions as it's often more time consuming to make. It is made of pasta, minced meat and bechamel sauce.
Vasilopita. Yep. You heard it right. That's a pie named after me
Literally translates to "the King's pie". It's either made of sweet bread or cake. We put a lucky coin called "flouri" inside and the lucky person who finds the coin in the piece either gets a prize, money or they're just congratulated for being very lucky
We cut this one on New Year's.
