There are a lot of people selling in store items at a higher price, this has been going on pretty much forever. It is important for people to become familiar with what is in store.
I payed 200k each for two boxing cherry things only to realise on price guides they're 4k I just didn't have time to cancel the trade and this was last night :/

same thing happened to me...bought some drapes that are still in the stores.. paid the guy way too much.. went back to the sale and confronted him.. he ignored me... I am in and out of the stores alot, but there is still stuff I have missed.. wasted alot of money...
To me it happened with 2 Napa wedding items. The brown seat and then the glowing arch. Each item is 1 coin in store. And I paid 30k for both . It was my 2nd day back after a long break from the game, and I was super happy to find a seatable item for what i thought was a great price.
Sad that people do these kind of things, but just be extra careful when makin a purchase. Become familiar with items already in stores. I learned the hard way too.
I bought windows... well they're mirrors, they said they were windows... for 100k each, i bought 9 and then the next sale they were "5k for each mirror: -.-
Yep, you really have to pay attention... and sellers do forget too! I've sold two separate things that I was certain were discontinued that weren't, and I felt soooo terrible. One girl came back to tell me, and I refunded her and let her keep the item... I think that's what a "good" seller should do if an accident like that occurs. It's probably on purpose with many, though
