Not 100% sure on the pricing but I think I'm being fair. No idea on the overlays so please let me know.

Thank you Loie. I will update my pricing. I was going by what I've seen the average cover/overlay/backdrop or whatever BVG called them go for LOL. In your experience what do you think is far for those? I really have no idea.

i think at the time i probably paid up to 300k/400k for each NZ scenes. i have no idea of today's value.

I probably purchased my one alaskan mountain range from the actual yc offer
I would warn you that as an overlay i have found it difficult to use, i don't think it works with the layering tool. i've had a hard time using it in the distance and it makes no sense in the foreground.

probably best to just ask seller to come with a price in mind for these items and see if it's a price you can do, i estimate to myself what an item feels it is worth to me (based on how i would use it, on how long i've been trying to find it, or see if AH has an average value by listing same item for high non-selling price, etc).

that's my internal price guide LOL

i don't do fb groups, but you could ask around if someone who does could price it for you.

i know this is not much help.

i wish bvg would make items like these staples

Thank you so much. I don't remember seeing them in the AH often and when I did it was N/A for average so I figured they were over priced as usual on there LOL I do have this posted on a couple Facebook groups. I will ask for a price check for the overlays. Thanks for the info on the Alaskan one maybe I will keep that price if they don't work well just see if I can get one to play with and see what I think. Seeing your rooms I 100% trust what your saying.

you could figure out some way to use it, it's a beautiful item, but the clouds are moving. one side of the mountains comes down gradually like a mountain would, the other side has a vertical edge like the mountain was sliced straight up the side. yet the clouds still pose an issue when rotated that way.

i could put it in a room for you or create and move it around so you could see it.. wait we're buddies now, you can see it in my "Aquatic Avenue" number 1 house on my list. It's currently in the third picture location.

the clouds in this second photo are moving left to right and they go beyond the last mountain.. then disappear abruptly around where u see this cloud in this image

if you wanted to build a house to the right of that, you could. all else (sky, lake, trees, with exception of some other overlays) are overlaid by this overlay. i wish we could layer them. i like my distant clouds to move behind my foreground LOL

was able to use it ok in a gem room long ago because i could dictate when the image went through (ready to submit window) and make sure the distant cloud was not overlaying the house.

I can see exactly what your talking about. Your right they look completely awkward to work with but they are beautiful. Now I know I want one LOL I will see if I can get a price check for them on facebook.

OMG I wish you would have tutorials to teach ppl on how to create rooms like yours Loie!! (even if it was just the basics of what and when things are added).

Getting the perspective right is so important and can be very difficult in this game, especially if you have a limited inventory...however I would still love to see your process and to learn from it.!!!
