Tuesday evening.....got in on the second attempt.....everything seems to be OK. It says at the top that they are working on the gift sending issue (I have not had any problems with that)....but nothing about the desk top app loading issue :eh:

Same issue here, app not loading, have to kill it with task manager, but no problems getting into game through Facebook.
No issues with free gifts.

I haven't been able to log on to the desktop app in well over a week. It just gets stuck on the loading screen and then either crashes or I have to ctrl+alt+del to kill it.

Tried all of the "fixes" that you're told to try and nothing works.
Getting rather annoyed.

I hear you Haven.....I just kept trying after the "Ctrl-Alt-Delete" until I got in. But having said that, a few years back I was not able to get in for over 6 months....until 'something' they did and just like that I was back in......so never give up hope!

Today I have been getting in either on the first or second try.....until just now and it took 3 attempts to get in. But once in, most things are OK..... :haha:

Mine is doing the same exact thing! I have a friend who also has the same problem! And if I ever do get on again I'll have to pay to catch up, and I'll miss out on the events! This is so annoying! :wailing:
