In the old forums I remember a post on how to make shapes out of the fireflies. Does anyone still have those instructions?

Unfortunately I don't have the directions, but I did find a few links with them if you trust that I won't lead you astray ;P
If you aren't that trusting then I understand.. but here they are.
If you don't want to click these, then you could go to youtube yourself and just search "Yoville fireflies" the 3rd video and down should help.

Yes, I know how. as for instruction? I do not remember who told me.
1, Have the fire flies in a dark part of the room and nothing around so you can see whatyou are doing, You work a lot in the blind and by memory.
2. Put them center room, it works best if the walls and floor is black.
3. Go into edit mode to do this and you can grab one fire fly at a time to do it. In edit, grab one fire fly with mouse holding mouse clicker down. Drag to where you want, release. ( once you release it, it disappears) Remember where you put it.
4. Grab another fire fly- and drag to where you want it. . release. Once you release it disappears but it is still there. .. If you want to check check now you you can see how it works.
Save. go out of edit and you will see the 2 you dragged are in the location you put them. Now go back into edit and do the others. It helped me to do a few at a time. It does not work well to "re edit one you already dragged and placed. ) they like to stay put. so finish your entire little heart or whatyou want to do before you "refresh."
After you refresh you can edit the ones you edited already to position better.
