I can't find any real answer to the question about why we cannot open our special delivery boxes. I have a lot that I saved, especially after it was announced BVG was in talks with Zynga - so I let them accumulate. Now I cannot open them. I have seen a couple posts about people making up multiple players and that having something to do with it. I do play Yo on my brother's FB page, BUT I purchase cash for both accounts and fully use and decorate both accounts (which tells me I spend way too much time on the game - is that what they are talking about?

Are we going to be able to open the boxes once again? I hope someone will please respond.

As for the special delivery boxes, they CAN be opened, but not to get coins. You can use them build stuff in the factory. That is their only use. They won't be coming back. BVG has said this a few times.
I did the same as you. I saved them. When BVG took over, I had over 25k of them.
The reason they were done away with is because one person would create 20 accounts or more, and then send themselves tons of boxes, open them, make tons of coins and not have to do anything to gain their wealth, except cheat the game. This went on for a long time and along with the boxes and other exploits, coins became abundant in game and there was no reason for these people to purchase YC and help keep the game alive. Everything was done with fake coins and there was an endless supply of those.
Although at first, I was upset about the boxes that couldn't be opened by those of us who played by the rules, I can understand the reasoning behind it and I've now resigned myself to that fact.
It is what it is. People cheat. The good guys pay the price. Such is life.

Nice name We even spell it the same, LOL. I hear what you're saying, and understand how the cheaters brought that part of the game down. I'm sure there are many people in the same position as us, and that's unfortunate. I wish BVG might reconsider, at least to some extent, especially since BVG has worked so hard to shut down the cheaters, hackers, etc. Who knows ... maybe they will ... we can only be hopeful and maybe inquire again. The two Renea's make it all sound so good and informative. Unforutunatly I have over 1k silver chests and no keys. I would like to add to a few things Renea 2 said. She said many made mulitiple accounts. yes they were bad.
Many players ADDED fake names, pet names, Yo worldian names. Yovillian names, names against the TOS. it was not only the ones cheating and exploiting, it was also those adding peeps with multiple accounts. Some of it was by trickery. I hate being tricked. Don't you?

It would be nice if they popped open but it would be nicer if only the ones with real players handed us coins and the fake players hand us a pebble or a button.

I played BVG's Fish World while all the negotiations and reorganization were going on with YW. I just knew YoWorld would eventually come back in a great way based on their Fish World game. I never bought FW game cash because the game had a lot of ways to make coins and even cash. I'm really, really hoping with time BVG will reinstate some things they've presently halted, and maybe come up with even better/more ways to earn coins. I can't afford a lot, but I will happily purchase game cash when I can, but I will not purchase coins. Earning just a few thousands coins a day isn't enough to get very far decorating. I have to say, I do love the new items they're coming out with - pretty cool stuff.

I am so disappointed about being unable to open my special delivery boxes. I left the game for a while and now that I've come back, would like what's in those boxes. I stored about 5000 for a rainy day--- like a savings account and now I feel like we're being penalized. How unfair. Even if you don't distribute the boxes anymore at least let those of us that worked hard to earn them to get our goodies inside. Please?

OMG I had no idea!!!! I have been spending coins thinking "Well, I have some SD boxes left..." I am going to cry now I couldn't care less about the stuff in the factory as I already have that stuff but I never got to make all of the other stuff that's gone. Oh...well...
