Take a screenshot of your room(Prt Scrn). Take it to paint and paste it. Crop the pic. Go to tinypic and save it there. Take forum link and paste here. It will need to have bracketed IMG tags.

You can only get your url for your apt link tho. You can put teleports to get yourself to diff homes or avenues tho

Here is your link:
https://apps.facebook.com/playyoworld/i ... 04&poe=200

You can take a screenshot of your computer screen using the PrtSc button, this should be near to the delete button at the top.
Then put it into a document such as paint and upload the documented using tinypic.com and right click, select 'copy image URL' and then paste it between this>

There's also a sticky in the How To section that might help: Taking & Posting Screenshots

Windows 8 has a cool Accessory called "Snipping Tool". Find it and you can take pics of anything and save them to a file. Photobucket or Tinypic will allow you to create an account for free. Upload your pics to these websites and use their links to post your images.

I like using the snipping tool in Windows 7.

Remember back when Zynga had the game and there would always be keys or coffee cups that would randomly show up in about every room you went to. Back when they were talking about closing Yoville I went around and got pictures of most of my rooms. Then looking back through them I'd see some random ad item messing up the detail then have to go back and redo a lot of the pictures.

Really glad you didn't close because last summer I had a drive failure and lost every one of those pictures. :wailing:

Lesson Learned... Make more frequent backups. :)

Congrats Suriline, your room looks great. Now all you need is an apartment link in your siggie and you are all set.

Where is the snipping tool? I use Windows 7. I've never seen the snipping tool. Not even sure I have it. :eh:

I have Windows 7 and I have it. Do a search for it. I use it anytime I want a screen shot and don't want to take a complete picture.

In start menu look under >All Programs -> Accessories

Or in Search bar type Snipping

If it does not show up go In >Control Panel > Programs and Features>Turn Windows Features On Off and see if Tablet PC Components is checked

I think it is in Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise editions of Windows 7 so maybe not everyone has it if there is a Home Basic or something.

C:\Windows\System32\SnippingTool.exe

I know I got used to it at home as it came out in Windows Vista but at work I had Windows XP. I remember I installed some Freeware called (Snappy or SnagIt) (years ago) and it worked about the same to take a cropped screen shot.

Good luck.

I can't believe this...I know something you don't?

After you click Alt and Print screen...go to each

Start Button

All Programs

Accessories

Snipping Tool

The screen will fog over and a little "cross hair" thing will show. Drag it around what you want to save. Under File, click Save As. You should then be able to name and save to Pictures. I upload to Photobucket from Pictures.

I think I remembered all the steps.

You did great. I went through a lot of trial and error before I got it down pat.
