Heyhey, I'm new on YoWord.

Maybe this question is dumb and asked many times before....

Lately I have a lot of new friends on facebook who play YoWolrd (Thanks for the requests and accepts, by the way!!).
I see them appear in the "tape" of neigbours underneath in the screen. However I am still not promoted in the YoFactory.
Are these people neighbours or not? When I click on "add neighbours" I only get my fb-friends listed that are not on YoWorld.
Am I doing something wrong? What do I have to do to get promoted and how do I add neighbours properly?

To get promoted you have to add people to your FB, then send them requests.

...the ppl in the factory are *crew-members*...those don't get automatically added...
...to get more *crew-members* you'll have to add them/invite them...and they have to accept your request...

...when you are in factory and click on the machine a pop-up appears which will show you on ist right side four empty slots...
...under each slot is a blue button...click that and select ppl and send them those requests...
...maybe you should msg them by FB to accept your request...after they did...you got crew members...max. 4...
...for them you can collect Hotdogs...and get more payout in coins...

...adding promoting neighbours you should also do in the factory by the respectively field button...
...also check under your game Settings (top game Screen) if you have updated your Buddy list...if not...do that...
...don't forget to clear your browser cache afterwards and refresh game...
...if you only see FB neighbours and not players...check if you have selected the correct tab in this pop-up...!!!...

I have dealt with this same issue my self, so I submitted a ticket. The viking replying told me that in order to get a promotion, I would need to add new neighbors that have NEVER played yoworld before, and that it was a new feature that they added when they took over. So although I added 100 (+) neighbors on facebook & in yoworld, they do not count towards my promotion in the factory because they are not bran new players.(which makes it a lot more difficult to be promoted) I am guessing they changed this in order to get new players; however, for those of us that have been playing awhile, this feature is unfair.I hope this helps, and good luck!

That seems very odd to me as I am not a brand new player and recently I was added as a factory worker to someone who never asked for factory workers and she had been playing since 2010.
SO how did that happen? I explained this already in my group and in my page with illustrations on how to add people in fb through the face book activity log. I am not going to repeat 3 hours of my tutorial again. I posted this tutorial in the forums. I will not look for it as I did my part to do the tutorial and I also did this in shareing it to HERE in the how to and also to the YO Grab Bag page and also to my group. .. heck if I know where it is and Ill be rootin tootin if i go and look it all up again on my computer to find it from july - sept when i made the tutorial and reports it all over again..
You have to go in the factory and request workers. and the ones who are playing have to know how to find that feed. as a matter of fact me and another person both helped another person and became factory crew for that person.

There is NO need to get rude with me; I am just stating what support told me via e-mail when i submitted a ticket. If you don't like it; contact them. I really don't care about your previous post in your group. No one asked to repeat 3 hours of your tutorial; because they do me no good. As i stated in my original post; I was informed this is a NEW feature ; If you or anyone else doesn't believe me: SUBMIT A TICKET, and let support tell your personally. I have No reason to lie about what I was told. I am not talking about "crew members" for the extra bonus. I am talking about neighbors that go towards promotions; two different completely different subjects. Please read before making assumptions and getting rude with people.
