I've been looking at some of the news, and it looks like some browsers are phasing out Adobe Flash. How is this going to affect our game, and some of our older things? Has BVG looked at this? Is this something we should worry about?

I have been wondering the same thing. Google is the one that is dumping Flash from the Chrome browser. I have been using Chrome, I love Chrome.

Will I have to change browser when that happens?? :dizzy:

Flash pays the bills for facebook if they didnt have that you wouldnt be able to play most of there games . I read some stuff about flash being old and buggy and they want to get rid of it for some reason. But I dont think that they will soon .

Google Chrome: Company Planning to Phase Out Full Flash Support on Browser by End of 2016
Under the proposal, the software will continue to run by default on 10 popular sites, including YouTube and Facebook, Google says. Users will have to select Flash to run elsewhere.

Steve Jobs and Adobe always had a long running feud, and that's why he never allowed flash to run on his iPhone and iPad. He said it was a memory hog and buggy, plus subject to hacking. Basically he was right but it was already very intrenched in the web by that point. Most games do run much smoother and better with flash, but flash has to update almost weekly to keep up with hackers and other buggy problems. Therein lies the crux of the problem. Sooooo back to the question..... Do we have a long range plan? Or is everyone waiting for Adobe to come up with a fix?
