I have workers in my factory that dont play anymore. How do I remove them and add new ones?

Well you cant remove them. But I think if you click star hire it will hire people and replace the ones that are sleeping .

Arnold, is it your thought that 'star hire' is a person or is it some sort of keystroke?

Now that I read this I relize that Imhave have no nolege of factory hire system . I don't use it and I think it may be faulty .

I don't know how to remove existing factory workers. I don't think they get anything by being an employee and as long as they aren't sleeping, you get coins whether they're playing or not.

They "sleep" if they don't have Hot Dogs. You can ask for Hot Dogs by posting for them when you go to "work" (your friends have to click the post) or you can collect hot dogs from your friends' hot dog posts.

A Star Hire is someone who you post for - they fill the position temporarily and then they expire - I'm not sure what the rules/timing are for that. The Star Hire also falls asleep without hot dogs.

So - post for Hot Dogs. send/Collect hot dog. Work every 5 hours to earn coins - even if your workers are sleeping.

Get friends on FB that also play so that you can send/collect from each others HD posts.

There is no way a "star hire" hires other folks for you if the ones that are not star hire guit or are not playing.
that is ridiculous. and who told you this and where did you read that. Not true.
the star hire is indeed a person who has not played YO in a long time. .. WHen you invite your crew. the star will be one who has not played in a long long time true. but they do not hire the rest of the crew YOU DO. they are the star for a specific reason.
Not because they are your bestie, or a relative or do a lot of work or have yo cash in yo. It is not even one who has a lot of friends.
I helped others start accounts at my HOUSE.
Being I am disabled, I get a lot of company. .. I show them how to join. so me and a friend. tried to get me to be the star hire for her and the only way was for ME. to not play for one week. i had to not play for an entire 7 days. I went 8 just in case. ..
then when she asked for the star hire. I got the invite and it popped me in.
many get an invite but only a certian kind will go for a star hire.
The other friend had her star hire and this person was her total opposite, in religion , politics and ethics. She was shocked that that person could be star hire.

Hiring a crew does not mean you get "auto hot dogs." Asking for a hot dog does not automatically get you help. You do not just plop your dog out there waiting for others to click you. Having your crew "fed" means you click back. It means you make sure they eat every 24 hours and you help them. The way I do this, I help those who help me. If they have commented on my hot dog link or clicked like on it, I first help these back within the 24 hour period.
I also help others who are players in the game and active. If they are a avid decorator, I help them.
The nice thing is if you help someone you get one back in return. That is a nice feature. I call it the Karma feature. I help you and you help me or 1 for you and 1 for me.
If you write on the top of the hot dog feed it is easier to spot for your friends. It is a nice way to greet also and say hello.
Why is a crew important? Why cant I play the game alone with no crew?

1.You want to be ADDING people not removing them, they help give you raises (even if they don't play anymore)
2. There is no delete feature, only way to remove them is if you remove them as a friend on FB which I don't think you wanna do
3. When you earn your pay from the factory a pop up will appear that says "ask for hot dogs". If you share it, it will go on your news feed and if ANY of your friends click on it, they will give you a hot dog to your crew. (1 hot dog per click from each friend)

So it doesn't matter if you have someone as a crew member who doesn't play anymore, it's just as long as you have friends who will click on your hot dogs posts on your news feed
