this is good to know. I was wondering the same too

I was trying to level up my noobie too and I found it more enlightening to stick to a topic I liked, then open them in new tabs. It was great learning this way too. ..

it depends on how many replies/posts you make, your rating will go up and you will see your level rank on the forums go up

A good way to level up for me was to go to the "how To.
I tried to help others in there. I did so much reading. It was a fun way to level up.
I love the How to and the bugs and reporting.

My first project was to put in a signature.

A really good way to change it is to spend time in the Off Topic section which ranking up you have fun too!

The off topic section is filled with game play to bump up. The last time I went it was 1 and 2 word gamess of which is against the rules in the forums in the first place.
It is not the correct way to use the "level up in the forums."
The forums were never to be spammed in this way.

Maybe this has changed since the last time I went in the off topic section.

I will stick to what I said. The best way to level up is by learning too. No use in being a top level if you don't know anything in the forums nor how to use them.
The "yes, no, say something about what the person above u is wearing." BUMPING posting with games playing is not allowed in the forums.
