Hi I just came back to playing again. My laptop now is extremely slow huhu :( I'm planning to get a new one which one can you suggest? Something that's new, fast/game friendly and worth the money.

Hello! Welcome back

Yes, I've noticed the same thing when I got back in June, but there's no reason to panic. First, we have gem events that have been causing horrendous lag while running and the issue is listed as one of priorities at BVG. Other than that, can you tell me specs of your laptop, including operating system, hdd capacity, ram, graphics card and cpu type and frequency? Then I can tell you is it better to buy new one, as laptops aren't a cheap thing and I'd give it a serious checkup before discarding it as old and slow

I am using an acer aspire 4736z. Really old one :haha: Had this for 10 yrs already. I'm still on Windows 7 Ultimate.

After looking through specs I gotta say it's just a step behind my 4yo Lenovo G50-30 with ram upgrade to 4GB instead of original 2 it came with. Poor little thing is quite laggy when the events are on, but other than that is running just fine after Win reinstall. Now, while I can't exactly state the model as I don't know about availability and price range at your country, I can help by listing specs to look after, so that would be:
Min. 4GB RAM (though I'd recommend 8, doesn't add much to price)
Intel CPU with at least 2.4GHz frequency
If you are not planning on stuffing it with loads of data, .5TB should be fine for a hard drive. If you'd like to step up with price, you can use SSD instead of classic hard drive, but I doubt it would make any serious performance impacts
About the graphics card, my personal favorites are NVIDIAs but if I were you, I'd look up for more recommendations.

Also, short tip if you aren't planning to mess with software horrors: avoid Win 10 by all means. It has gruesome number of background processes and it took me about 3 days to clean that mess up to point where I could let my shabby 2.16GHz CPU breathe without being on 110% all the time.

Hope that helps, I think you should be able to find a good, reliable laptop for not so many $$$ with these.
Also, you can check more recommendations and models online now that you've got something to start with.
