I have been reading a lot of people are having problems in connecting and avenue. I found this today by Shirley So i took a picture of this to share it. I thought this was best in the How to as it is right on!
I hate to reduntanly repeat myself like a parrot in the forums. I am trying to make my experience more specific and meaningful for myself and all of you when I come in here. I hope posting this will help a lot of people with the questions.
I myself have attached the avenues incorrrctly too. I did it the old way.

In whatever room you want to edit, click the big red/brown chair.

Hiya Debbie . To edit your room you go in one of your houses . and you will see a red chair under the chat bar. When you click that you will be in edit mode . Then you can go to your stuff and drag your stuff into your room . Or you can buy items straight from the stores .
But if you are going to be connecting houses to avenues . then you need to be at an avenue to go into edit mode .
