Hi! I was wondering if someone could explain how to design clothes for yoworld characters! I want to design a few and maybe enter in the next contest available! If someone could explain in detail and maybe explain some programs used or something please do! Id appreciate it!

You can only design items once there is a contest running. A template will be floating around, or posted somewhere when that is happening. Unfortunately, you can't submit designs at other times.

I think the OP was asking about programs designers use and how to get started.

I am sure the wonderful designers we have here on game and forum would be more than willing to give you some sage advice but, for now, here is a snippet from Jess's post from the Anniversary Design Thread:

• Designs in .ai, .svg, or other vector formats will receive extra consideration.
Like we mentioned, we're on a tight deadline this time around. In order to fit a contest in at all, we'll need to be able to get your creations into Yo as quickly as possible - which means that vector formats are key. So choose whatever software works best for you - but it might be a good opportunity to learn vector software if you don't know it already! Try Inkscape - it's free!
