I have never been able to get the search feature on this forum to work . Am I doing something wrong or is it broke .

Hi Arnold,
If you are looking up a person you must type in the persons forum name-a space-parenthesis and the persons id in the perenthesis in the look up player section.

in the look for word section you put a wild card first before the word search *the wild card symbol*

To do a phrase you put in the "important words" NOUNS.

As example I might be looking up How to do a siggy and forgot how to do this. So I would put in 3 to 4 words to get to my help I need.
I would put in
*How to Siggy , this would bring up all the phrased with HOW TO SIGGY in same paragraph.
I hope this helps.
Its a very horrible search forum. I think this is a 1999 forums. retro .

Hah thanks . I heard that bvg didnt make all of the forum code.. And that they used some code alread made for a forum .And added some stuff so it would be fit to be a yoworld forum . They probably didn't mess around with the search feature .

Arnold. this forum is precoded. easy peasy. nothing to it and anyone can do it. look at the bottom the very bottom of this forum and you will see the OWNER of this forum code algorithm..
Powered by PHP bb software. go look them up.
When you look them up they offer this kind of forum, the cheap free one or other forums with more advanced options.
BVG has nothing to do with this forum and how it works. It is a software they are using that has been precoded.
