I also appreciate your comprehensive descriptions and pictures that you put into your theme requests since it often helps your fellow players as well as the Vikings understand the possibilities in a theme design.

BVG took it and ran with this one-which was alright and I know which thread to post it in-I too just added my ideas for fun!

Modern Brutalist Architecture theme.
Brutalist architecture usually features types of visually heavy edifices with geometric lines, solid concrete frames, exaggerated slabs, double height ceilings, massive forbidding walls, exposed finished concrete, and a predominantly monochrome palette.
Brutalist buildings are characterised by minimalist constructions that showcase the bare building materials and structural elements over decorative design. The style commonly makes use of exposed, unpainted concrete or brick, angular geometric shapes and other materials, such as steel, timber, and glass, are also featured.
Brutalist buildings prioritize function over form, and stripped-back minimalism over flashy design. Raw materials, textured surfaces, simple silhouettes and geometric shapes are the hallmarks of Brutalist interior design. The trend comes from the post-mid-century era which celebrated grandeur, glam, geometric forms and repetitive patterns. (Clothing can be up to interpretation)

This is how detailed my suggestion was for Concrete Retreat, incase you'd like an idea of what kind of presentation Bvg accepts for theme suggestions. I think you did fine! You posted in the appropriate place, added details, and that's all bvg asks for us. Since I've posted this thread, there has been a few more in depth theme suggestions. So I'm glad to see this thread is beneficial. Good luck.

I'm just frustrated, I've had ITEMS put in the game quite a bit, (several for Realm of Shadows, some for the Goth themes, some for Green Haven, the glowing gerbera daisies for the Forest Festival event, and no credit given) but my full theme suggestions have not made it in game yet! I was so close with my Necromancer's Lair for Halloween too!

I've been talking to some friends of mine... pro pageant hosts, asking why they left and they've told me they can't host pageants anymore without drama arising. They have some theme suggestions but have been driven away by harassment either on here or in game. There are a lot of missing opinions that are not being heard because of the current environment. I advocate the forums on the game and most just say "they stay away" for the reasons I've listed. I've stepped away from hosting pageants myself for these reasons. They are hardly a thing anymore.

Yes I remember the other day you agreed with me when I explained that not all the quiet players are quitters. Some of us play quietly, we deliver feedback, and try to stay on topic. Etc. I agree with ya also. Overall my prompt was to include my thoughts on how to post proper requests. I wish you luck on your endeavors concerning pageants.
Bonesaw (126579776) wrote:I'm super frustrated with their process. I think back when they let the players vote, a lot of mine got shut out. I just don't have the energy to put it all back in here again - only to watch it be ignored for eternity. I was nice and I was detailed. But nope. It is what it is now.
They can do whatever it is they think they need to do, and they can also wear the consequences of it all. Hopefully most of them are beneficial.
