A have been using the forums for a few days now and I have noticed something unusual for a website.. not a single advert to be found. while I have to admit, the lack of adverts adds something to the beauty of the design and layout of the forums, I cant help but think that there is a fair bit of money to be made.
To give some idea as to how much money there is to be made, the historically popular "Flappy Bird" mobile game featured a single banner ad which was enough to generate revenues of $50,000 per day. While I understand that Yoworld has a much smaller user-base, there are currently 3 price-guide websites (2 more popular than the other) which players avidly use. each of these use advertisements to generate revenue, which I am sure is enough to pay for the running of the website while leaving a sizable chunk of change for its owners. So for a game which was rejected by the infamous 'Z' undoubtedly due to profitability issues, It confuses me as to why I cant see any advertisements. I for one wouldn't be deterred by seeing a few banner ads. It wont make them rich, but it's something. After all, money does make the Yoworld go round.
