I used PCs all my life but just got an iMac. There are things I love doing on PC, shortcuts and whatnot, that I can't figure out how to do on Mac and don't know how to word in a search.

Any translators available?

I wish I could help but I'm strictly a PC user. Good luck, though, Chris!

I don't even know what turn screen negative is :haha: at least by that name.

There are two I'm thinking of right now, but others on the back burner.

1. In Windows, when you Alt-Tab between programs, it brings the one you stop on the forefront as long as it's open, even if it's minimized. On Mac, even if a program is open, if it is minimized, it stays minimized and Cmd-Tab to it does effectively nothing. You still have to open it from the taskbar as if it is closed.

Any way to have screens open up, even if minmized, when you Cmd-Tab to them?

2. In Windows, you can select one or more files in Explorer and hit Delete. On Mac, you have to mouse to "Move to Trash". I know I can Cmd-Delete to bypass the trash can and permanently delete, but when I flip between Windows and Mac multiples times a day, I forget constantly.

Any setting I can change to just move to trash just be hitting Delete?

Thank you for trying, even if you can't help.

I was able to find this: https://www.vieodesign.com/blog/8-mac-k ... pen%20apps.

I can't test any of the shortcuts out myself since I don't own a Mac but might be worth a glance.

1. Cmd - Tab and Cmd - Shift - Tab will cycle you through open applications. Or swipe up on touchpad with 3 fingers to view windows of open tabs, that way you flip through them quickly.

2. Press and hold Cmd key and go to the last one you want then then press Shift key and click on the last one.

Cmd is your best friend on Mac

Edited to add this site. It's very helpful

Thank you, Vivica. Checking that out right now.

Thank you, Mir, but I'm good on those things. My questions go a bit further.

Unfortunately, that's what I've been doing so far, but I'm more excited to learn how you pasted with a highlighted bookmark?

No one is going to see this question in this thread. I would repost it in one of the threads about Flash or about the transition.
