Is it just me - or does it seem like a waste to end up with rooms that we can not connect to something else?

It's frustrating (for me) to have so many cool rooms that just sit idle in my inventory because the game won't let me use a transport arrow in it.

We get to use and wear the outfits when the challenge is over... Why not be able to connect the rooms?

If it's just a glitch with my system, I'm sorry for bringing it up.
