No worries, your Teens and 20s will be full of enough cringe without going THAT far back. I know that better than anybody. LOLOL

I’m 19 so my teen years will be soon over. My teenage experience is a bit weird tbh, I would say pretty boring and reserved. I never had a emo, weeb, one direction/Bieber, Kpop, Stan/crazy fan of anyone phase ever. Never had a crush and never will, my style is very chill/formal, I travel and do normal tourist things, I have cool and smart friends, I just… I mean we all have experiences that are a bit cringe, but I genuinely can’t think of anything cringe I did tbh lol. I did have my horrible religious phase at middle school but we don’t talk about that one.

So maybe my early twenties, hopefully not though :quiet:

Wish you the best Peach!

You both already sound smarter than I ever was at these ages. If you can imagine ME being 100 times more bullheaded and rudely forceful, you'd be on page 1 of what a dingus I was. The internet made me mean, and my skill with words made me cocky. It was a terrible cocktail for a young man. I hurt a lot of people and regret nothing in life as much as that. You guys have witnessed a little of that when the monster crawls out of his hole. The good news is that every day it gets smaller and smaller because I no longer feed it. My boss told me that I have to keep it for work though, I just need to know how to control it. LOL

I have learned the same fallacy of thinking that makes people racist and sexists and homophobic (AND transphobic since that is a big thing nowdays) makes for the same judgement that can be passed on in any group, culturally or demographically as well. Not everyone is guilty of what most members of a group have done, but I lost my blanket judgements in my mid 40s. Some things I still got to call myself out on, I am grateful now for my age that allows me this progression, I doubt I was like this a decade back. I was quick to judge anyone, now I hold judgement- almost indefinitely, as it's rarely accurate, and I seek accuracy in my old age.

Never a problem in my threads. I prefer organic thought streams. And if someone gets torqued because my thread moves off center, they have options.

Age is a definite benefit. My 20 year old self was nothing short of an infinite asshole. I'm glad the people in my life at that time were patient. Because the me right now would kick that guy's ass. LOL

EXACTLY. At times I get my dander up over someone, but there's that quiet voice (if I can influence the ol' brain chems long enough to chill out and listen) that says "AND YOU WERE THAT DUMBA$$.... DUMBA$$. :haha: Then humility helps quell the projected outrage. Mosttimes.
