sorry not been on much-lost a good friend to cancer -funeral is tomorrow & hubby had an amputation done-had in home nurse coming since april but the infection reached the bone. been rough times so I need some rest for a bit and just dealing

thank you dreary-I know better days ahead-I been through a lot worse and Iike Elton's song says.."I'm still standing." ok wobbling holding tummy but I'm getting around.
Actual on a 4 day mini vavation away from home-actually babysitting my sisters home which is huge but the pool is fine and she left enough to feed an army and this isn't including snacks!
So the 4 days are a ME time-guess she knew it was what I needed..rest and relaxation- and best part we are all here..my daughter my hubby and I-nurse comes here even tho we are about 40 minutes out of our own city-it's quiet cept early morning swarms of seagulls are walking down the street eating all the june bugs-usually this happens in may but its now july...strangest thing as so close to lake there's millions of them damn icky bugs but the seagulls take care of most of it...this lil town turns off all the lights at night even the gas stations and coffee shops have low lighting to deter them june bugs-either than that I am holding my own and chillaxin! So I was trying to explain to my mom about closet gays-and coming out. I explained it best I could she said "oh ok,alright"
that was a week ago-she was in the kitchen laughing and I asked her what was so funny? I looked around didn't see anything that would make me laugh-she said "Oh I was visiting a friend and explained how you told me all the gays fell outta the closet.

sometimes I wonder about her but I did get a giggle out of her and how she puts things certain ways. :heart:
