My internet has been fine all morning. I haven't heard of any blackouts in my area. I live in B.C. Canada.

I think it was just Rogers Communications that was out. My cellphone still isn't working, and I'm not with Rogers :eh:

It was only one Service Provider that was affected and thankfully it's back online now!

Single Points Of Failure

Even in this modern era, redundancy is so expensive. Many of our most vital systems have almost zero contingency if they go down. Glad you got reconnected to the Interlie and all it's glorious power.

I'm not quite sure if you're exaggerating the situation... I've watched too many NCIS episodes. :haha:

most of everything is down-gas pumps local stores coffee shops banks stores skip and uber------a lot of home products which run on wifi are down
they say this could we the whole weekend..glad I'm not with Rogers but seems the rest of the city is-all of Ontario and through canada is still down--they say it may last past the weekend...speaking of even concert venues are hit hard as everything is now cashless meaning you can only use bank card or visa--visa however is still up and running but them bank cards are not gonna work. At 6oop.m. Rogers began coming back but then it quickly went out and is on and off since...Good luck everyone-we live in such a high tech world this does affect more than not!!
