What a graceful, empathetic, steady, and intelligent monarch she was. She was a credit to the UK and to the world.

Condolences to all who embraced her. :rose:

I think, in most cases, it would have been left where you posted it, which generally would be the correct place. Please don't be upset. I believe [and this is just my opinion], it was moved because it's such a huge story and because she was so beloved. This way more people will see it.

To all my friends in the UK, you have my deepest sympathies. Queen Elizabeth was a wonderful woman & was loved & will be missed by all of us. She made me proud to be part English. May she Rest in Peace. :heartbroken: God Save the King.

This is personally a truly sad day. I had hoped and prayed that today wouldn't be that day when news came out that she was under medical supervision, this morning. I'm devastated by this loss.

It feels so unsettling to be honest, and although many of us would not have had any personal dealings with the Queen, she was a figure of security and resilience. She personified many qualities that I admired and aspired to emulate, such as tolerance; duty and work ethic. She was someone who has been an unwavering constant, in my entire life. And now it feels so weird.

I am going to miss deeply, her annual messages of encouragement and unity, which has been a tradition of every single Christmas (from as young as I can remember).

RIP Queen Elizabeth II - your watch has ended. :wailing: :wailing: :wailing:

God Save King Charles III ( and us).

Thank you so much for making this thread.

I am in such shock and sadness right now i cannot believe our sovereign Queen Elizabeth II has gone.
She was an incredible, yet humble figure and she worked so tirelessly for her nation and her people's amongst the
Commonwealth. She was my hero in many ways.

I remember seeing Queen Elizabeth as a child of 7 at our Perth's Royal Show and i saw her in the stands at Claremont as she was being driven around the concourse and waving to the crowds. But standing next to me was this bloke taking polaroid pictures and he kindly gave me on of her. Queen Elizabeth visited us in Perth infrequently; next time in1988 for our bicentenary of Australia, again visiting Perth for the revamping of Forest Chase, then again for the opening of the World War II memorial in Kings Park and then finally for CHOMG in 2015/16?. To me Queen Elizabeth was always this calm, kind and strong figure who just got on with it and taught us to be humble and to be kind to others.

God save our gracious Queen, long live our noble Queen, God save our Queen.

A great loss for her people, and for the world. I always thought of her as a solid rock, with a heart of gold. Queen Elizabeth II will be missed by so many.
