Rumor has it you guys aren't gonna be able to change everything over to HTML5 considering the whole game was built on flash and so many items rely on flash to function. My guess is without releasing any information about the beta testing your gonna rebuild the whole game. I think you guys should relaunch the game it could use an update

If you have downloaded the YoWorld game playing option, then you should still be able to play on that ... I downloaded it ages ago and it is still fine even with the changes going forth at present....

My family all play on it and some of us were using the App and others using just Chrome, Vivaldi, Firefox or Microsoft Edge .... now those arent working for us ... so at present we are all having to wait our turn to use the YoWorld App ... would love it if all the above browsers could have the app added to them so that we can play on them all again and not have to wait our turn to use the YoWorld App one at a time .... and yes I know all the browsers were using flash to play the game .... but as with most things .... each browser does add apps to it to enable everyone to use them in preference to other browsers they dont particularly like ... (if that makes sense LOL)

come on Big Viking ... make it easier to play this game by enabling all the different browsers to use your program on them which means so many more people will be able to play ! :D

Hi Cupcake! At the moment, the game cannot be played on iPad. I have IPad Pro and I have checked using all kinds of browsers installable on iPad, but no, the browsers do not show a link to proceed to the streaming game. Viking Andrew wrote at an earlier Update that they would do the mobile too but it would come later. Time is unknown. It could be much later.

Your best option is to get a Kindle Fire (someone here said it worked fine), a laptop, or a desktop with a Windows OS or Mac OS to use the desktop app of YW. Firefox and Chrome browsers work fine playing the game on a desktop and laptop. However, the desktop app seems to be the best to play YW. I am really so sorry about your not being able to use your iPad, Cupcake :sad:

Dear BVG,

I have downloaded the desktop app and it ran smoothly up until a minute ago where I got locked out of my Facebook account (both on the desktop app and in real Facebook). I couldn't get back in unless I change my password and answer some security questions. After doing all of those, everytime I try to sign in to my Facebook through the desktop app in order to play, Facebook would have a pop-up saying that action was blocked and I am now unable to use the desktop app too. This sucks and I have lost motivation to play :heartbroken:

Hi, Nayun, this is exactly what happened to me about a year ago after I tried to login Facebook using various Flash browsers to play YW. Facebook locked my account, so I could not login Facebook to play the game. This is a problem with Facebook and you, and BVG has nothing to do with it, I'm afraid. Did you manage to login Facebook with your new password and after answering security questions? You need to login Facebook successfully first before you can play the desktop app. What I did was to get my FB account unlocked first by sending FB proof of my identity. That's important. After login FB, I had no problem playing the desktop app again, so you need to get your FB account unlocked by FB first.

I turned off my flash on my Chrome browser and it quit going to the white screen through YoWorld Streaming. Yesterday evening I was able to watch videos through YoWorld Streaming and tonight my little tv is greyed out so when I click on it it tells me i'm out of ads when I haven't watched one ad today. I need the coins I make from watching video ads so please fix this issue. Thank you.

What browser are you using? I checked three browsers (Chrome browser, Mozilla Firefox and Vivaldi browser) and they show the streaming option to click. The three browsers can stream YW. Also, they only work on laptop and desktop. If you open them from a mobile device, the option disappears.

A more minor issue compared to the constant disconnection and people not being able to sign in at all but my ads aren't showing up at all today. I'm on Chrome. It's a brand new day and I haven't watched any yet but the ads button is gray. I'm really nervous how this is going to go once things switch over. I can deal with some stupid glitches and minor issues short term. Disconnections and not being able to get in at all are a huge problem though. I really hope this all gets sorted out quickly.

What happens to the ones of us that use their mobile phones? I can't play at all now & I have no money to buy a laptop. They should have an app for the phones, they had plentry of time to develope it. I have years of time & money invested in this game, so I don't want to stop playing. :wailing:

I am using chrome. I use to be able to watch ads to earn coins because I spend loads of money here every month and also a VIP now I can not watch ads there is a message saying no more ads. There was none from get go. If I can't watch ads on chrome or this streaming I am removing my VIP and I spending 0 here. I spend way too much money every month here as it is and now if I lose ads to earn anything free I will remove myself from the site.

If you use Google Chrome, click on "Continue streaming on flash player free version of Yoworld" below the download yoworld button. Another option is to download the yw desktop app to continue playing.

Just about every complaint on this thread has very little to do with the chatroom game. While bvg cubicle critters are inept a lot of the time it is not their issue if you can not connect.
You are on a platform not supported any longer, or through the migration, on old hardware, or a slow net connection, or you, you did something that facebook flagged as questionable. It is not upon them to fix your hardware or connection, or social media account. Just because you have a desktop and internet doesn't mean it is awesome, their are many tiers of net speed, (many net companies are just not reliable) and hardware qualities across the board.
It is a free to play chat applet, it will be back and most people who are having issues will be able to get back in eventually.
It isn't like the migration hasn't been a big story for at least a year. We all knew they were switching over, and that is was never going to go perfectly.

Hi Stardust! Thanks for the reply. I was able to login to Facebook normally after answering the security question but whenever I open the desktop app, I'd be given the Facebook login page. After I try to login as usual, I would get the Facebook website pop-up saying that my action was blocked and need to answer the security questions again. Hence, I am still unable to play the desktop app. I tried to re-download the app for 5 times and still, the same thing repeats itself :(

The only way I have to be able to access the game at present is my tablet, which is a Lenovo Tab M10. I cannot use Puffin at all (I do understand why) and Firefox won't load the game. I can get into the game in Chrome, but I cannot enter my code to buy items and I cannot type messages to my friends because I cannot raise the keyboard. :sad: It won't appear - I have Gboard and the AnySoft keyboard. Neither will work in Chrome. Can anyone help me, please? :heart: I need my daily YoFix!!!! :heartbroken: :sad: :wailing: :wailing: :wailing:

I played this morning on the desktop app and didn't notice anything different. Maybe my timezone was behind or maybe I'm lucky.
Hope it works out for you folks soon cos it sure would suck not to get my greedy little hands on the daily loot :smug:

I see :sad: It seems to me that Facebook has not unlocked your account correctly. I still think it is Facebook and not BVG because the pop-up still asks you Facebook security questions. BVG will never ask anyone to answer their Facebook security questions. However, it is good to ask BVG for help about it, they will tell you what to do. They cannot help you here in the Forum, so if you haven't do it, you can send a ticket to BVG. Their response could be delayed due to the New Year but you can try. I also suggest contacting Facebook and ask them why they still ask you to answer their security questions.

Last but not least, try to check your Facebook's setting and see if you have allowed YoWorld to access some of your Facebook data, or allow Facebook to be used for YoWorld. Unless we do that, we cannot use the desktop app. Your setting could have changed when your FB account was locked or when you reinstalled the desktop app. It is good to check.
