Same thing happened to me as well Doodler, and I have no idea how to fix it. Ive used the desktop ap for quite awhile now with no problems and was able to go to others apt thru the forum to leave off a gift. But now, its like you said, asking me to download the desktop ap, which I already have, and was using at the time, im not going to download over and over again. This is why I have not been able to do what I like to do in game, and have been advised, other than making events to meet up, there doesnt seem to be a way around this issue.

I have Chrome. I downloaded YoWorld. I have played on both download and the stream. But after I download, where do I find it again? Because all I get is the notice to download when I want to play, again. Thanks.

Once you downloaded the desktop app, look for the folder you saved your download. If you don't know where you saved it, just search for yoworld.exe (for Windows) or yoworld.dmg (for Mac) in your computer or laptop. Once you found it, click it. It might ask your permission to change or delete some files in your computer before installing, so click "Allow." When it asks whether you want to open it, open it, and the game will open. Play it. Look for the red Y logo of yoworld, and drag it to your toolbar or your desktop's home so it will stay there. You are making a shortcut, so you can find it easily later even after you shut off your computer.

Please remember, there is no need to download the desktop app more than once. Next time you want to play, just click the logo, and the game will open.

Yoworld dot com is safe, it's not like it will hack your computer and steal your credit card information, don't worry. You can set your eSet antivirus to give an exception for yoworld dot com so you can stream the game.

I always played YoWorld on the Desktop once it came out and for a day or 2 I could play in Facebook Gameroom when the streaming link showed up . But I havent been able to get into Yo thru the Gameroom as the Streaming link never appears at the bottom of the notice about the flash player.
Now I have to play Yo through my facebook page . Anyone else having this issue??

Gameroom does not work anymore for this game, from what I read in this thread.

When I try to sign in using the desktop app it wants me to sign into Facebook. When I do I get an error page, which I have attached.

I got that too, but when I signed in using another Facebook login page, I could get in. Just don't use the Facebook login link from the YW desktop app.

Will YoWorld ever be accessible without having to go through the Facebook platform? I want to deactivate but YoWorld is the only reason why I don't.

If you have a desktop computer, you can download the YW desktop app, and install it on your desktop computer. We can chat and do search in the store. Make sure your YW desktop app is version 1.1.5 That is the latest version of the app.
