Stage 38, on jewel game. Help, how do you get the gold bars down... I've matched every color around the bars with chains and still can't seem to break the chains

(Sorry editing to clarify....You will not break the chains any other way than busting through them with striped gems.) You need to make vertical striped gems by matching 4 gems horizontally. When you match 4 in a row horizontally that creates a gem that will shoot up in a vertical line. If you match 4 gems vertically it makes a striped gem that will shoot across horizontally. So you can try to go through the chains horizontally at the top on the sides or vertically from the bottom. The first set up on the board always gives a line that can create a vertical striped just below the middle gold bar in chains. I would make that move first. You can tell which gem is which because a horizontal striped gem has horizontal stripes and a vertical gem has vertical stripes. I have played candy crush so it is similar to the same idea. Also if you can cross a glowing gem with a striped gem sometimes it will explode enough to break those chains. I hoped I helped and am not sounding confusing!

Nope not confusing. Just hard to get 4 in a row, before I ran out of moves.

I cleared the boards in 2 to 3 minutes each. The trick is when you get the glowing Gems or the multicolored rainbow looking Gem, try to get them next to each other and then move/ cross / switch them around and it will instantly clear the entire board and you win! Sometimes I won before I was even ready! I had more moves in mind. LOL

Good luck! Ever since they updated the background of the jewels game with the tropical crap, my phone freezes bad. (It's not my phone that doesn't work because before that update it worked fine).

OK, so… I made it through all the levels up to the last one and can easily when most all of them every time. But I keep going back to level 30 and I can't seem to figure out the trick to win that one consistently. I have one it quite a few times already. But it still beats me more often than not. Anyone have any hints on that? Also I'm here because the game froze up on me while I was trying again.
