Why exactly is there a limit on gifting? Is it because of people dumping freebies? It really sucks, because I've hit my limit of gifts for a day. :cry:

I thought there was only a limit on how many times you can gift one person

It was initially implemented by Zynga to stop anyone from being able to gift away your entire account if you were hacked into.

Oh okay, thank you! It just kind of sucks because I'm unable to gift the amount of people I want.

That was back in late 2012 when there was some glitch that allowed scammers to get into your account through Yo.com.

Oh, I never knew about that glitch. I really hope they'll change the limit though.

I think when BVG get the game as secure as they can, the gift limit may be lifted. Probably a bit early yet for them to do this. I'm sure if they can, they'll lift the gift limit.
