Idk what I am doing wrong but I am having a really hard time selling stuff while I see other people successfully sell their stuff for pretty high prices. So, is there a secret ? lol

What are your selling tactics ? How do you attract buyers?

Please share your thoughts and experiences about trading, any helpful tips etc.

I sell everything for 10c they buy or fly.. Now if you want a buyer for 20c now you have to repost events ever min or so

Persistence...and act like you know what you're doing even if you don't. If a lowballer smells inexperience, he'd rather miss out on a good deal than give you the satisfaction of getting the price you deserve.

I dress like this. It attracts people close to me. Then I absorb their emotional palette and morph into becoming them, and then I force them to buy my stuff in a state they won't remember when their coins are deducted.

If I see something I have is going low ill wait month or 2 till it stettles and sell it. Another thing if its a holiday item wait till that holiday to sell it its more popular than and youll get more.

Also...beware of this.

Old rare items like collectibles and 08 costumes are currently falling in price. There are those in game that will try to convince you now is the time to sell, undoubtedly because they want your stuff. Don't fall for it.

When prices are LOW, it's the time to BUY. They will bounce back. They always have in the past and they will again. Don't get taken advantage of by falling prey to panic and selling off your items just because they are currently on the downswing.

One thing I found that helped when I was selling via an event is to have a friend help you. They can direct traffic and answer questions if a new person comes in when you are in the middle of a trade. It can be very overwhelming when a crowd descends on you and you are by yourself.

An easier option may be to sell in the Trade forums. Here's a few things I find helpful as both a seller and a buyer.

Be descriptive in your title. Start out with WTB for want to buy or S for selling. Then put the name of the item you are selling. It's just my personal opinion but I get a bit irritated at titles that do not list what is being bought or sold. Now of course if there are too many things to list you have to use a generalization. I see a lot of cute and catchy titles that are no doubt designed to catch attention and bring people into the thread to look. But me personally, I usually pass them by. I don't have a lot of time to spend in the trade forums to waste my time having to guess.

If you can put a picture of the items for sale in your initial posting it will help a lot. I will buy more from people who put a price for what they are selling. I'm not fond of the make an offer routine. I go to the auction house for that.

Speaking of the auction house, I've used it a few times in the last month. It worked well for me. However lots of folks are encountering problems there, so might be careful if you decide to list.

I'm pretty rusty as I was not very active the last few years until BVG bought the game back. Hope this helps a little and it makes some kind of sense.

Good luck.

Actually I know what I am doing. I mean I set prices mostly according to AH average, or just decide for hm I would like to part with them. I also leave a certain amount for potential bargains. I like haggling & communicating for trades.

I know that very well. If something iis dropping why would I sell it lol I am not like "omg pls buy my stuff" attitude. That's not the case, I just wanted to unload some extras.
Idk... Looks like it will just take mroe time that I expected.
