Mostly things wanting to be gifted. When I list a wishlist I put maybe 5 items of things I really have had a hard time finding (Usually worth no more than 40k) and I try to put WTB in the wishlist as well as list that same list in the trading section.

i have a Zen wishlist, a 70's (08) Wishlist oh and then there is my swan collection and pet stuff
Do you know what my wishlist is ? no because I don't post it all over the place besides my list is so small compared to others that it disappears and anyway I'll get those items eventually no bother no hurry its not like I'll be selling any of them when I do get them
So I have no rush at all

I am pretty sure I know exactly who you are talking about.

Yup I'm quite prepared to buy and pay for what I need. It is hard to be a buyer at the moment, most threads in trading are WTB. Right now its a sellers market lol. Unless your me trying to sell something then NOBODY wants it lol.

I guess Just ask for one million coin item at a time - wait a couple of weeks (yeah weeks not mins) before you update to the next million dollar item you would like to be gifted to ya.

If you keep constantly getting gifted, why not change it up?

Whatever you're doing to play to the sympathy of others to help supplant your gameplay is obviously working...keep running with it!

Wishlist pictures in siggies helps...a lot.
Most people post their wishes in the wishlist section. But, a lot of folks won't even venture over to that section so they've gotten around that obstacle by putting their wishes in their siggies. So, when they post here in Discussions, their wishes are on display for all of us to see. More exposure = more gifts.

Well, I commented earlier that I don't care if someone has a wishlist. I don't like the idea of it because I prefer to support myself in the game. I would never expect others to gift me things.

Having said, I have noticed an interesting trend lately in Discussions. What I am about to say may not go over well with some, but it is my opinion, so here it is. Personally speaking, I would rather see someone who has a long wishlist of 08 and rare items, posted in the wishlist forum, than this awful trend of the indirect begging that is taking place in discussions lately. Let me explain. We all are looking for items at times, and yes it can be frustrating to find them. There is a huge difference in posting about your frustrations (some call it "just venting") about not finding something, and posting how distraught you are that this item just don't exsist anywhere in Yo! Example:

I wish it was easier to find the things I need to complete my room!

I wish I could find the Pixie Lionel hat in blue that I have been looking for the last 2 hours.

You know why I hate these posts? Because when you make them, you are manipulating others into feeling sorry for you and that is just wrong. People think we don't realize what they are doing. Guess what, we do. Many see it and the quickest way to never get gifted is when people catch on. So enjoy getting gifted now, but people will catch on to your manipulation. ;) So post away all you want in wishlist forum, but when you bring your sob stories to discussions, don't be hurt if you get called out.

I wish we could call them out, but that would only get us into trouble in the forums. Or your words get twisted and turned into something ya didn't say and next thing ya know, there's a thread up somewhere calling you a b****head for saying something you never said at all lol.. I'm talking from experience here.. I'm not bitter or anything lol.

Well then perhaps we just need to report the posts. They know they aren't supposed to be posting for items in Discussions and they are taking advantage of the fact that this forum is not constantly moderated. They are already manipulating the signatures because there is no official thread in wishlist forum. The whole reason for this is because they dont feel they are getting enough people seeing their picture lists.

On the Z forums I would call these people out constantly because I didn't care if they gave me a warning or a few points or a couple days off from the forum.

Now with our forum bannings also have a bearing on in game bans, I won't be going there but I still make mental notes and point out these things privately to those I know.

My worry was never the backlash other posters would give me, as long as I saved one decent real person from getting by someone's scamming, it was well worth it. :D
