As I've said before, they let us see people's true colors. Some people on forums have said things that I would never have expected from them. It divides us as players but at least lets you know who's worth your time in here and who's ignorant enough to think that a badge gives them priority or a sense of greatness.

...well, if someone feels really disturbed by those badges...
...add the option in user control panel to allow ppl to decide thereselves...
...so everyone is able to choose if others see it or not...

This whole conundrum reminded me of that children's book-- Sneetches On The Beaches? I think that's the name, anyway.

Also, as I said in another thread (which got deleted I think!), I know I won't be buying yocash every 30 days, for the sake of a badge, if there is nothing to buy. I play too many games as it is, and it's getting too expensive to buy all the time from each and every one if the content just isn't there. I did like some of the stuff BVG put out, and I bought. Like this hat for example, and the duty belt (with yocash I bought from the game)!! But, I got no credit for it, , and if I had received credit for it, it would fade in 30 days and that's sort of blah.

I've seen many people on here that I really respected and now I have a change of heart.

I think these badges should stick around for the duration of the game, and as you advance through the badge levels, it should reflect that. Once you get to gold, for example, you're always a gold supporter. That's the only way I'm in favor of the badge system. Prior demonstrations of support should always be reflected in my opinion.

It is a way for people to show off ,But well i can't care less.

...its on you...and on you only how to act with that...

I think people will be more encouraged to buy yocash, which helps the game...
so yea I support it.

Altho the badge thing aint a big deal to me, i do feel kinda bad for not being able to support the game i love and adore. When cash more easily flows my way, ill be able to buy some yc. But until then, i feel like a free loader.

You bring something that money can't buy. A good attitude and a kind heart. When you can buy some, great. If you can't, don't feel bad. Anyone who would look down on you is not worth your time.

I like being recognized for my support of the game but I don't really see myself (as a person) any more important than non Spenders. Tbh

i hear a lot of people that complain about things costing Yocash and tho i get it, wanting something and not having cash to buy, but tho of us who do shouldn't be made to 'feel bad' because we can. so yeah i like the supporter badges because i put my money where my mouth is. I was one of the voices that asked BVG to buy this game i so love, they did and i plan on supporting them in anyway i can. if this means paying money to play the game, i will. and no i don't have a lot of money to spend but i budget yoworld under entertainment. I have 'rabbit-ear' TV because Yoworld is more important to me than all the stuff on TV so what i would pay for cable i can put toward my internet and Yoworld My support is visible.

Looks like the majority agrees with "no".

I voted no. I have been buying YC ever since BVG took over, but the badge of being a gold supporter makes me embarrassed. I appreciate that BVG appreciates our support but personally, I'd rather YoWorld not knowing about how much I spend.
