I have such a horrible life. I lost most of my organs rescuing babies from a tornado while teaching children, while donating $70,000 to charity. Every day is horrible. Every day! Say... 08 Native is an interesting costume.

Slick Beggar: I wish I could help you but after my only dog died I got so depressed that I gave all of my things away. Now I'm left with nothing and have to start all over again. Most of it I can live without, but I miss my pink rets. They hold a special place in my heart because I got them the day after I bought my dog, so they remind me of him. I know I'll never be able to afford them again, but I guess that's life. I might just quit the game.

YoAngel: Check your box hun.

Slick Beggar: OMG! I can't believe you did that, I'm in total shock!!!!!!!11 Thank youuuuuuuuu. I'm literally crying, I'm so happy right now!!!

(then she logs off to take her dog for a walk )

What I don't like about beggars is that if they're actually gifted, they act so much happier than they should. You can just sense that it's not real.

But here is my apartment link if you want to leave me a message and cheer me up. Also, if you have any freebies you don't need, I'd be happy to rebuild my Yo life with them. And if you feel moved, then by all means any animated item or old collectible would be great. Oh, and I love costumes, especially old ones. They really make me smile. K Thx!

Yes I am being silly. But these are starting to appear again. Be wary my friends. The scams are returning and they are getting smarter. ;)

It's my mom's cat's wedding anniversary. She would love some rets. If you drop them off at my apt, I will happily deliver them to Mrs Whiskers :) that would make her day!

I just saw someone say on another thread that they NEVER ask for gifts......ya know, you don't have to come right out and say it. All of your "boo hoo" and "poor me" posts speak for themselves. I try to be fair and give people the benefit of the doubt, but when I see the same things over and over, it is hard to deny a pattern of behavior. Oh and is there a pattern of behavior..... Let's just say, the search feature speaks volumes about someone...... ;)

The indirect begging needs to stop. Those that are guilty know who they are, because they get so very defensive when it is pointed out to them. Then they feel the need to pull out the victim card, which is quite ironic, since so many have been victims of their manipulation. BVG don't allow scamming in the game, they shouldn't allow these manipulative little scammers to operate on the forums either.

You are one of the kindest Yos in here and I think sometimes I am so abrasive with these people just because I know how gracious many of our forumers really are. I have literally seen some of our group give players the shirt off their back out of kindness. TY for being part of the good that is left in Yo. :)

What amazes me are all the folks that defend them!
I've seen people being called out, shown proof of of their scammy behavior, yet there are STILL folks that swoop right in and say "There there...don't listen to the haters. They just have a need to bully and be mean to someone!"
I mean...seriously. W.T.H.?? People can not be that naive, right?

Making me blush Rod.... :P

That is what bothers me, there are many who still have that spirit from 08/09, where we would be happy to help when we can. The manipulation makes me cringe.
